Another is leg extensions. Sit in a stable chair with your feet on the floor and strap on ankle weights. Straighten your leg then slowly return it to the floor. Repeat with the other leg. Note: you can straighten both legs at once but most people find this hard on the back.

If it is to make a dip go to Recipes and if it is an exercise go to fitness

Where can I find directions on how to do a 'dip?'

My knees are bad too. I would either do a shallow lunge or a dip. Dips are easier to do and you still get the benefits.

I'm doing the Spark People 28 Day Bootcamp, but...there are a lot of lunges and my knees simply cannot handle the pain from my osteoarthritis. Any suggestions of alternative moves? Thanks.
