Angel, it doesn't matter how long you wait, the PT will help a lot.
I had 2 disks removed from my neck in 1987, and had a lot of problems afterwords. Don't think I'd be where I am physically or emotionally without a good therapist.
Good luck
Fran

My Ortho doctor has started me on physical therapy for the osteoarthritis in both my knees. The lady working with me did a lot of bending of my legs, poking areas twisting my hips, etc. I tend not to think about a lot of the pains I have. I just figure I stand too long or walk to much. According to her my hips are in a state needing therapy. I do get a pain in my lower back when I stand a while, like when doing the dishes. She said that is because I have an issue with my hips and that effects how my knees feel and also doesn't help with the pain in my feet. So I am now on physical therapy three times a week for six weeks to start
