I would love to know what you find out about this. My hip on the left side does this. Every morning when I have to put on my socks and shoes I literally have to put it back into socket. Until it pops I can't get my leg up to put on my socks and shoes, it can be very painful. So I would love to know what your doctor has to say about your fingers.

Judy, i saw your other post and know you are seeing an ortho doc for your back. Are you seeing a rheumatologist?? Your surgeon will not deal with the disease process. Your rheumo should be dealing with the rest and this sounds like normal morning stiffness that comes with arthritis. Sorry you are having a clear flare.
I like living. I have sometimes been wildly, despairingly, acutely miserable, racked with sorrow, but through it all I still know quite certainly that just to be alive is a grand thing. Agatha Christie ----------------------- Kierae - happily maintaining since 1/2009
Anyone have popping sensation at the proximal interphalangeal joints? I looked up that term...smile. The joints on both my pinkies near my palm won't bend when I wake up then they feel like they are dislocating when I bend them. Goes on for about 15 minutes until they feel semi normal. Annoying pain the rest of the day. Started last week. Can't get into the ortho for 2 weeks so will see my PCP Tuesday. Anyone know what this is? First problem I have had with my hands.
