Yes and NO. My husband works out several times a week but eats crap ALLL DAYYY LONG! He takes weight gainer, eats ice cream, hits up McDonalds, because he "has Mac Attacks;" he says, drinks 2 Large triple cream triple sugar Dunkin Donuts coffees a day, and eats at ALL HOURS of the night and skips breakfast. And thankx to a BORDERLINE thyroid condition, he's still hungry and hasn't gained a pound. Now, I make him take all junkfood down into his basement-studio-lair so I wont go looking for it when my chocolate cravings strike. He refuses to do any cardio workouts with me for fear of burning too many calories!!!

That can play such a major role in continued success.
I've really had to express my desires for where I want to be, otherwise my husband just doesn't understand. He has never had a weight problem, so this is completely foreign to him. Because of that I can't be putting any blame on him for the bad choices I make. They are mine!
My husband does like to go to the gym and he encourages us to take walks around our neighborhood with the dog.
As far as healthy eating -- he'll eat whatever I put on his plate...to a point. He's not interested in trying many new things, so that makes it difficult. For the most part I am in control in the kitchen though. It's the snack foods in the house that are killer.
