I'd say on the positive end HE was the one to make the decision to join the gym. It's important to him to stay in decent physical shape so that he can still play sports while coaching.
On the negative -- my dietary plan went out the window. There are lots and lots of things that he likes to eat, that are fine in moderation, that I simply should not be touching. Before we were married, when I lived alone, this stuff never came in the house. I don't want to deprive him of things that really aren't BAD for him -- that means I need to be working on my WILLPOWER to just say NO to the stuff I'm not supposed to have (you can see my SparkPage for a bit of background on that).
