Well, another year, and another "excellent". This year the test was moved up from August to April due to mission requirements. Some year I might actually be able to go a year between tests...

Thank goodness I tested in late Sep when I was wrapping up a TDY. I was pretty much in the best shape of my life (in the last 3 years) and got above a 90. They measured me a little skinnier than I thought I'd be... but was proud of how far I'd come with my waist, run and pushups. Now I'm in redoing mode...trying to get back to that point. :(

Awesome score. Be careful that you don't further aggravate an injury.

I tested in Nov and unfortunately dropped a little over 3 points, but still managed to pull off a 93.6. Next year's goal is to test about a month earlier and regain those points.

I had a doctor's note that exempted me from the pushups, but I was certain that if I could do them then I would score and excellent and not have to test again until next August. Otherwise, I'd have to test in February, and it's mighty cold here to be running that time of the year. SO I said nothing about the note, and just did it.

Final score was 97.8.

Awesome job!

I was notified on Friday that my next test will be in August--that's a couple months early (wasn't due until October, but mission requirements...)

However, I have a shoulder injury, so I'm afraid of the push ups. very very afraid!

Aww, sorry to hear that you missed it! Hopefully you'll do better come re-test time!

My next test is in October.

I have mixed feelings about the minimums. I guess if you're going to have a standard, then there needs to be minimums. I like that they give you leeway in that you can score under the "70%" mark in one category and make it up in another. It would be nice if it was like that across the board, I guess.

What's your plan to pass the retest? Personally I would just be hitting those sit-ups every other day--do a set, as many as you can, then rest for a few minutes and do it again. then one more time!

My last PT test was pretty good....for a fat girl! Not good enough for the Air Force though. I failed by 1 situp. I needed 38 and was only able to do 37. It's a bit frustrating. I'm not really a fan of the "minimums" in each category. That's just me, though.

How did you do on your last PT test? I scored in the upper 90's, better in the new standard than the old. I hope everyone else is doing well!
