I look at pictures of the old me in a size 20 and then look at myself in the mirror wearing size 6! That's what motivates me to stay on my life-long journey to better health. No turning back!

I'm still unimpressed and underwhelmed. i also think people i work with are acting unethically and it ticks me off because i do not know how to call them on it. maybe i am just wanting to see it so i have an excuse to be apathetic.

i am going to work around it.. refocus on ehat is important to me, find my passions and not let others pull me down to their level.

It is always difficult for me to stay motivated after coming off of a larger than normal weight loss. Last week I lost 2.4 pounds. This week every sweet treat (and there are many) in my path is causing major temptation. Yesterday I went over by 250 calories. Determined today to stay within range.

not really a bad day, just not very motivated. still eating too much (free) candy at work. 1 tootsie roll is not many calories, but 5-6 is more especially when i then also have my cookies. my eatiing is our of control and i am not doing my exercise with the intensity as i want ans i have been unfocused from some goals.

i don't need to "restart" maybe more of just picking a few goals and putting more effort into them.

last week i was really bitchy.Last weekend was awesome. monday was good. tuesday was ok ; wed/thurs were sucky. i was crabby for 2 days, but today i was able to adjust my attitude and the day was better. i just have to carry those feelings into this weekend. it will keep me eating healthy and being active,

I am so feeling you all on the gain and loose, this is where I am at now, seems as though when I don't see results in weeks I get discouraged and start to sabotage myself, now I am on the sweets like crazy, like making a quick stop for honey buns, candy etc.

Received the best email from my principal yesterday. I had emailed her with some things I was working on, and she replied:
"Why are you working on the weekend??? RELAX"

I do feel better today. I spent some time with my kids yesterday. I am having to learn to let go and realize that everything does not have to be perfect!

IMREITE, I know how you feel. I was down to 134 last year, but with an incredibly busy schedule and immense stress, I am back up. I had maintained 141 or lower for about a year and a half, and struggle now with the weight coming back on. Stressed, tired, but I am not giving up either! As you said in your blog, I need to stop and smell the roses as well! Sounds like you are finding time to do just that!

We can do this!

I had a great beginning of September i lost about 7 lbs and then gained a few back, lost and then gained again. by the end of the month i started to get tired and lost some of my energy. i am however not going to use this as an excuse to quit and give up.

I am making these changes for me and after starting to see some improvements in my stamina and muscle town. i will keep going.
