Lunch, I think. I am usually busy during he day, and forget to eat or decide to put it off, and then by te time I get around to it I'm starving, and grab anything I can find.

Breakfast. I have never been much of a morning person and having more than coffee is tough. When working I would grab fruit and toast at the cafeteria with a hard boiled egg from home about 0900, Now I'm semi-retired I'm doing better at home, must be not having to hurry to get out and punch the time clock emoticon

LOL my late night demon is Chocolate!!!! I keep saying I am not going to buy anymore but somehow it gets in my cart or jumps in my grocery bag on the way home. The sad thing is I am not even hungry most of the time when I eat it. It is a bad habit I got into years ago of a little treat before bed time that has grown out of control. I am going to try change the chocolate to fruit, cheese or a protein bar. Wish me Luck!!!!!
Thanks for the suggestions Key!!!!!!!

@Terri yes exercise always stall my appetite!

@VICIOUS421 my advice for your 9/10pm demon is to make sure your dinner is full of protein, fiber, and veggies. Also make sure to stay hydrated. You will have to break yourself from eating that late. Luckily for me I don't have that problem because if I eat that late I get bloated. If you must have something that late try hot tea(decaffeinated) or a protein and fiber snack like cheese and fruit.

Hope this help

I'm like N_M_F - I get the 3:00 demons and start foraging at that time almost every day. Most times I convince myself to eat something good....but sometimes it is more than one something!

One thing I have started doing is planning a walk at that time (even if I have already worked out) because it gets me out of the house, office, or kitchen...and away from temptation.

How can we change some of the issues that cause us to no eat healthy at certain meal time??

Im starving around 3 which is when I leave work. If I plan high protein and fiber snacks around 2 with water it should hold me over until dinner is ready.

Lunch. Usually busy at work, not much of a sandwich eater and no time for something hot. Dont do fast food, ever.

Generally ends up being a series of snacks, like a cheese stick, granola bar, fruit or yogurt, spread out over a couple hours... At my desk.

For me it's dinner. I cook healthy foods, but I find portion control challenging. I've started measuring my food and it has been helping.

I also like to have a sweet snack between dinner and before I go to bed. That's where I have the most trouble. I've been making weight watcher cakes (angel food w/ pineapple or chocolate cake with pumpkin) to try to keep the calories down.

My hardest meal is actually not a meal. I have a hard time with those hours after dinner until I go to bed, when I am usually just sitting around with the family. We are trying to play board games a couple of nights a week, and this helps.

My hardest meal of the day is dinner. I plan my lunch because i take it to work so my choices are very basic, breakfast has become a habit. That is thanks to SparksPeople and helping me realize how important it is to start the day right. By the time i get home from work i am tired and don't feel like cooking so i grab anything and somedays everything. i do much better when i prepare on the weekend with slow cooker meals or soups.

I actually do pretty well with meals. I have a basic breakfast, lunch and dinner plan that I tend to follow.

My biggest problem is that time after I get home from work (I teach middle school EC) before/while I am preparing dinner. I tend to snack on healthy choices, but eat too much of them! Tired tends to equate with hunger during that time.

It used to be breakfast, because for years I hardly ate a real breakfast. Then I got so obese, was eating Hugh amounts. But I have that under control, breakfasts are easy.
Lunch is a no brain-er, usually salad and a protein.
Dinner, thats my problem meal.
I am usually tired from a long day.
I have planned what to eat, but hate to cook it sometime. Just tired. Or all of a sudden it doesn't sound appealing.
I usually have a lot to chose from, but sometimes end up having a bite of this and a bite of that.
I don't go over my calories, I just don't eat maybe as balanced as I should in the evening.
As far as snacks, My evening snack ,fresh grapes. I fix them and take them with me where ever I am going in the house. For my kitchen is off limits after 9:00 pm. That stops me from going in and getting any snack. The only time I might have to go in, if I have drank all my water and I need more filter water.

My meals are real easy to eat healthy because I cook at home - problem for me is the urge to snack on something sugary or fattening during the afternoon! I just have to fight the urge.

Dinner is the hardest meal for me. I cook for my family, which is a man who works hard all day and an active teenage boy. Both eat, and need way more food than I do, but seeing them eat so much it makes it very hard for me to control portions even though I almost always cook healthy, balanced meals.
