No worries...I always laugh when I end up in my close friends 'Spam' file. LOL!

I am looking forward to the new year, too. I am on a great exercise streak and am looking forward to continuing it into the new year. I feel like after years, and years, and years, and....I have finally found the exercise 'routine' that is truly giving me the results I want, while still giving me time for a LIFE. That is very important to me knowing that very long ago it consumed so much of my time, and with 3 kids...well you know how spare time goes in that scenario.

So, I will try to be back on our 'old' Daily check-in board every other week...or perhaps I should start a new one for the new year (?). And MEEBELO and I would love to have some company on the 'Daily Exercise' board (when time allows, of course).

DH and I are celebrating our 7-year anniversary on the 30th--getting away for a night in San Diego. Then just home with the kids on New Year's Eve. If I don't hear from you before that, have a wonderful New Year and Bring It!...2013. WOOHOO!!!

I don't know how I missed your post Elizabeth.... a couple weeks ago I didn't get any emails from SP for a few days and had to dig deep and find a box that had been checked titled DON'T EMAIL ME EVER AGAIN emoticon weird

I really do understand how each one of our needs change and we "move-on" so to speak. After 2 and half years with SP my needs are completely different than when I joined emoticon I'm thrilled that you've come to accept yourself, you really are a beautiful woman. I hope you really are looking forward to turning 40... it only gets better emoticon

2013 is going to be my year to exercise and I'm up to posting a couple times a month to stay in touch so Yeah!!!!! BRING IT.... 2013 emoticon

PS I don't have Face Book sorry. I'll just check your Spark page occasionally for any updated pictures emoticon

Linda, I would sure love to see you join MEEBELO and me posting your daily exercises!

Can't believe we are almost ready to change our title, once again, to "Bring It...2013" My-oh-my, where has this year gone!?!

I still love our small and mighty team...I guess we could throw in "quiet" as another word to describe us this past year, too. I know what you mean about missing the "life" updates from one another. But, on the other hand, it kind of goes to show that most of us are spending our time living in the "real" world as opposed to the cyber world....and that's ok, too.

Like you said not too long ago, we are all in different places in our journeys on here, and sometimes we need to be on here more than at other times. Either way, it is good to know we are here, standing by, when those challenging times come along.

I personally have worked on making peace with myself this past year--ridding my mind of a negative, distorted body image and horrible negative self-talk that I have plagued myself with for years. Perhaps the clarity has come with age (I am SO looking forward to turning 40 next year!). Or, perhaps it's learning about everyone else's journey that has brought me to this great mental place. Either way, its great to finally look in the mirror or at a recent photo of myself, and say, "I really like what I see!" I really don't recall doing that very much...like ever! The focus was always on the negative...the things I didn't like. You know how we women are so quick to point out our own flaws? I was that x 1000. And to be extremely honest, sometimes being on here too much puts me back to that negative place. When I read too, too much negativity on here (not this team, but the website in general) it brings me back down to that distorted place. I don;t know about you, but I've read many negative self-talk blogs! So, for that reason, I have to keep myself in check in regards to how much time I am on here...check in-check out. As much as I LOVE to cheer everyone on in their own journeys, I have to look out for A-#1, too. Gosh, I hope that makes sense!?!

Perhaps my New Years resolution (and maybe ya'all will join me on this one) will be to vow to check-in at least 1x every two weeks on our team board. What do you say? I think that is a manageable commitment. So...

Bring It...2013!!!

I sure miss everyone emoticon and their updates on family and life in general. I see Elizabeth and MEEBELO are gettin' her done posting their daily exercise routine emoticon And I know Iona runs regularly. Exercise has been my bane this year... I have lots of excuses emoticon but that doesn't get me any where emoticon

Can you believe 2012 is coming to an end emoticon emoticon I've maintained the 70+ pounds I lost for a year now. Eating healthy has become a habit emoticon I truly am a new woman emoticon emoticon BUT I want to get this body moving more and that's not going to happen on it's own emoticon so I'm actually going to make a New Years resolution emoticon to emoticon emoticon EXERCISE emoticon soooooooooo...
