Had my post-op today and I'm in the clear! Good to go!

Tomorrow DH is off work so I plan to start my Ease to 10K program. I'd like to do at least day 1 without the stroller and see where I'm at. Not sure how it will feel.

What's cute is that my 7YO son has joined the running club at school and wants to try some of the program with me! :) :) :) Maybe we will try it together Saturday. Probably we will run together a bit then I'll drop him back by the house and I'll keep going. But I'm looking forward to having this thing to do together.

I'll check in after my first run!

Congrats on the baby!!!!! I feel like it was just yesterday you were telling us that you were pregnant. Time sure flies.

I'm working on Week 6. I did Week 6, Day 2 on Wednesday and was at 6.14 miles in 70 minutes. Can't believe how far I've come since starting.

I only ran twice in January, I had some serious knee pain and trying to figure out what it was. It's been okay for the past few days, hoping to get a run in Monday maybe...

Hello friends and runners if anyone is out there!

Sorry to have been MIA for so long. I have been off Spark on *maternity leave* and am just getting back after having a beauuutiful baby boy!

Well, now I have about 17 pounds of baby weight to work off, and am starting from scratch on the running.

I have my follow up appointment with the doctor on Tuesday and hope to get the OK to run! I have to start slow because it's been so long since I ran, and because I did have surgery... so I'm thinking I will start out with day 1 of the *Ease to 10K* program instead of jumping into the Bridge.

I will check in as it goes!
