Hi everyone, I'm new to this site and this is my fist time posting something here so I don't know if I'm doing this right. I finished the Couch to 5K a few weeks ago and just started the Bridge to 10K program (after about a 2 week hiatus from running due to illness). I will be running my first 5K race next week (twilight/early evening event, Friday, August 3rd) and was wondering how I should proceed. I would like to continue the B210K (did first day yesterday Monday, plan to do second day on Wed, 3rd on Fri, and then start up week 2 next Monday). Should I do a practice 30 minutes straight run before next Friday (like on Wednesday or Thursday) or should I just continue as set out with the program (and skip the planned Week 2 Day 3 next Friday morning or still do that too)? Also, since my 5K is at 7 p.m., any suggestions for what I should eat that day (and how long before I should eat last)? Hope this makes sense. I appreciate your help!
