That is a great idea, although I rarely change purses, use one until it is unsightly, LOL, I do travel, so I like you keep a grab bag for traveling not only for myself but my BF. I keep medicinal, shaving, shampoo and cream rinse, bag of dog food for our dog, and other need every day items in a small suitcase, carry on size. When every I return from a trip, the following day I replenish the bag and then store it until the next time.

That is a great idea...I love it!!!! I'm definitely going to have to make the 'grab bag' part of my luggage. Thanks!

Jenny,

One thing that has helped me not to forget things I need is to have a "Grab-bag" with designated purposes. I use to change my purse according to the outfit I was wearing, but then I always ended up leaving something I needed on the "other" bag. So what I do is the following. One purse, no matter what I am wearing. Then since I am a JW and have to go meetings 5 times a week. I have a "Meeting Bag" with everything that I need in it, and I also have a "Service Bag" with the same features. A year ago, when I was going to college, you guess it...I had a "College Bag." What I do is I have a designeated place on my way out where I line them up, and then the only thing I have to remember is to grab the right one!

I have a bit of a brainteaser in terms of organizing my life. Next year I will be in teacher's college, which means that at the end of every month i will be leaving where ever I am to go somewhere else (ie, i spend Sept, Nov, Jan, and April at school, but October, December, Feb and March at my school placement, in another city 3 hours away). I am horrible right now when it comes to going home for holidays and such and forgettign things at school, any ideas for what I can do next year when I'm goign to be grabbing my bags and hopping on a train every four weeks? There are standard things that are gonig to need to travel back and forth, for brainstorming lessons at the college, adn then teaching them at my school placement. Any thoughts? Similiar experiences?
