There's Zumba Core and Zumba World Tour, which is with a video with real people instead of avatars. I really like them both but I will warn you about the World Tour one for Xbox 360.

There's a bug that isn't likely to get fix. When you launch the game it will just have a black screen after the kinect intro. The main clue is you won't hear the hard drive grinding away. You'll have to turn off the Xbox and then turn it on again, relaunch the game and wait. Hopefully you'll hear the hard drive grinding away and it'll launch. It's worth the frustration since the dances are fun, especially the Brazilian ones.

I didn't try the Zumba on the wii, but the one I have for kinect, I really enjoy. I look like an idiot jumping around my living room but I smile the entire time!

I think the reviews for the first Zumba, which I believe is Zumba party, aren't very good for the xbox. Zumba rush and Zumba Core, which I have are pretty good. I love mine and have been using it almost everyday. It's different than the DC games in that you don't get to practice so much and the choreography isn't as laid out for you as DC, but still love it. I actually think there are demos of both the Zumba games on xbox, so you can try before you buy!!

I cannot dance!!! But I just bought an xbox kinect 2 weeks ago and I just got Dance Central (the first one) on Saturday. Used it for the first time yesterday....and I LOVE IT!!!! I thought about trying the Zumba games...but the reviews have me hesitant. I had the Zumba for the Wii and I hated it. But so far the DC game has me hooked. So...if I can get this down maybe I'll try the Zumba.

Just to clarify, I have the Zumba Core.

Yeah, I'm not a great dancer either, but I feel like one when I'm doing it!

Last night I actually got some of the steps right. And when I enter the exercise on the SP fitness tracker, it says I've burned almost 1000 calories this week! Holy cow, can that be right? That would be nice but the game says something like 11 calories per song. Maybe it's somewhere in between. I'm just glad to get my heart rate up and move my body. Arm flailing and skipping around trying to get your feet in the right spot still counts, right?

Nope, you can do all songs from the start!! It also has like 45 pre done workouts for you in time increments of about 20 min, 45 min, and 60 min. I'm loving that feature.

Hey I have a question about this game. .... If you don't do it the right way, like not keeping up with them, can you do other songs and stuff or are you stuck on that one till you get it right?

I have the Your Shape Fitness Evolved, but can't get passed the first couple of exercises cause I'm not doing the good enough. (don't have proper form or something.)

Please, Please watch and listen for motorcycles while your out and about!

I love dance central - just bought DC3 last week and love the new options they have added to the game. You can now send dance challenges to your friends, to see if they can beat your score. I think that helps add some incentive to keep going. Some of the choreography on DC3 is very challenging, which I like because it gives me something to shoot for.

Not giving up yet! :-) and I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one who didn't immediately fall in love with the Zumba game. I think, eventually, I will like it and it certainly does give me a workout. All that arm flailing and jumping around trying to get my feet to match the dancers movements can really work up a sweat.

But at the moment, I like the Dance Central game much more. I like how DC approaches teaching the steps more than how Zumba does it.

Don't be discouraged - it takes some time to get the routines down, especially since most of the music is at a pretty fast pace on Zumba. But after awhile you'll notice the pattern that repeats throughout each song. Don't give up!

I have Zumba Rush and Zumba Core. It took a month or so to get loosened up and steps down. I love both of them but it did take awhile to get the moves down. I treat like an exercise video also.

I tried the Zumba Core demo, but I didn't care for it. Of course, I'm not a big fan of the dance games.  I have DC, DC2 and DC3, but I just can't seem to get the hang of it. So why do I keep buying them? I keep trying to convince myself that if I stick with it, I might grow some new brain cells! lol I swear, I dance just fine when no one is tracking me! But lots of people love the dance games and it is great exercise.

I got Zumba Core for Christmas, and I really like it. It doesn't give you cues as well as DC, but I just look at it like a workout video, with time, I'll get the choreography down. I'm really enjoying it. I like the different music and dance styles.

I just got the new Zumba game and tried it yesterday. Not sure I like it, probably because I seem to have two left feet! But I'll keep trying, and try not to get discouraged. It LOOKS like it would be a lot of fun, if I can just keep up. Anybody else feel like it tooke some time before they liked it?
