Okay, thanks. I guess with the Zumba thing I will just have to either go into my own chat party so that it doesn't give that feedback and for the other games I will use my turtle beach headphones. I don't have the wireless turtle beach headphones they cost a lot more.

Thank you!

It's the microphone in the Kinect that gives the feedback. And the kinect mic will pick up any sound in the room - including your game sound. The only way (that I know of) to stop this is to use headphones. With headphones you can turn down the game volume and turn up the chat volume so the other gamers do not hear your game and you can only hear their voices.

Connect headphones to your xbox is very specific to how you have your xbox connected to your TV and your audio. On amazon there was a video of how to connect your headphones. If you look up turtle beach headphones - probably could find it on their website as well. It's a little complicated, but I watched it a couple of times before I got it. I imagine there would be videos on you tube as well for other headphones. I had to buy a special connector because of the way we have our HDMI set up.

I can't imagine playing Zumba with headphones on though, but it's great for other games. Good luck.

Last night I was using the Kinect with an Xbox Live Friend with Zumba. I thought that I'd be able to see her but we didn't and it was dance but be able to listen to her. I tried to position my Kinect away from my TV so that it wouldn't give feedback to the music and my footsteps however the entire dance it gave feedback. I even turned down my TV volume. I was wondering if there was a way to stop this feeback. It isn't just this game, it's others. Normally my son will have to turn down the game volume so that he can only hear the people talking on Kinect. We also have headphones but I have no idea on how to use headphones with a Kinect.

Any suggestions or information would be great.
