Well sort of. It's like having a chat but no video. So you can hear your friend, but you cannot see them. The games are not connected in anyway. So you can say let's dance this dance at the same time, but you have to start together manually, and then just tell each other your score at the end. So you can chat while playing, but that's about it. Plus since you are using the kinect mic to hear each other (instead of headphones), you can also hear their game's music so it's a little hard to hear them talking during a dance.

I am fairly new to the xbox and leave all the technical stuff to my boyfriend. I know how to sign in and play. But that leaves me wondering if it is possible to play DC2 with a friend online. Does anyone know?
