I'm 5'6 and need to lose about 40pds to be at a healthy weight. I started at 200 in September and am 182 now. I've been doing Atkins and was losing a little bit each week, but am having some trouble getting back on track after Christmas. It's a new year tomorrow and I want to recommit and reach my goal weight by this summer : )

I am 5'4" (almost). I am about 161+ and have about 20 pounds to lose to get to a "normal" weight (140). Funny...that doesn't sound like much weight to lose when I put it down in writing and yet...I am once again at or above 160! Well, this year I am determined to change that! I think I should be closer to 125/130 ideally. But I will stick with the 140 goal for now! A 20 pound weight loss should be reasonable! Jan 1, 2013 I will weigh in officially and reset my weight ticker and goal.

I'd like to lose 100 pounds and see how that makes me feel. I've never been thin, even as a child, but I wouldn't mind being a size 16 or less again. Luckily my new job with the City of STL will help as they do a lot to help their employees be fit (the program is actually called Bee Fit, lol). I'm starting yoga classes and currently doing a 12 Days of Fitness program (we have a lot of contests for getting more active) which was just for December. We start a Biggest Loser type thing after the New Year and I'll be in that.

Hello, I used my kinect for the first time today and fell in love. I have purchased the Zumba Rush, The biggest loser, Nike + Kinect Training (came with Xbox), Just Dance 4 and Kinect Sports ( for the family). I see many people on here mentioning Dance Central and You Shape so those may be my next purchases.
I am 5'1 and looking to lose 50lbs! I believe this is something I can stick with because it is so enjoyable. Today I did the Zumba Rush for 20min. I realized just how out of shape I am. This afternoon I plan to complete the Nike+ fitness evaluation which measures your current abilities. Let's Go!

I just joined this group and I would be very happy to reduce by 33-38 pounds. I'm 5'4" and my ideal weight is 145 pounds, but I'd settle for 150. I'm currently 183 pounds.
I just tried out the Kinect for the first time last night and it was insanely fun. I can see that this is going to be a great way to reduce! I have a lot of fitness games (DC 2 & 3, Zumba Rush, Zumba Core, YSFE 2012 and Biggest Loser Ultimate Workout).
Best of luck everyone, and I hope we all get to start off 2013 with smaller clothing sizes!

Just joined this group. I have about 35 to 45 pounds to loose. I'm 5'5" and currently 179 (down 10 lbs from 3 weeks ago). I'm comfortable at 145 but 135 was the thinnest/fittest I've ever been.
I just got (and am loving) Zumba Rush, YourShape Fitness 2012 and the original version, have Just Dance and Dance Central 1 and 2 and Black Eyed Peas Experience (yes, I love the dance ones because it's the only way I will do cardio!).
I've never had an xbox buddy to challenge/encourage so if anyone wants to befriend me and get me going, my username is WolfyNelly .

I have 67 more pounds to lose, that will get me to 160. I know that number is still kinda high, but I a 5'10. I figured I would get there and then reassess. has anyone tried the Zumba core? (for 360) I use to do the YourShape 2012 and I need to get back on it. I am also looking for a workout buddy (just someone with a similar goal, and we can keep each other motivated). Shoot me a message if you are interested.

I am hoping to lose another 43 pounds. :) I think I'd be happy around 125, but all my doctors want me at 115, so that's what I'm shooting for.

I would like to lose 100 lbs,and then...if I feel I need to go a bit lower (since 100 lbs less would put in the higher normal range),then I'll decide then.

My long term goal is to get to a healthy weight, which is farther off then I thought since I found out I am shorter than I thought. LoL! So I need to lose about 30 - 35 pounds to get there. But right now my focus is to lose another 14 pounds to get me to a loss of 100 pounds, and to get me out of the "obese" range. It really irks me that after all this weight loss, all the BMI calculators still list me as obese. grrrr...

I think my ticker shows what I hope to lose and how much I've lost so far. 150 would be a very happy weight for me. I'll get there eventually. :)
I am more motivated to be in shape than I have ever been.

I began in late May, and I was about 240 lbs. I did the Jillian Michael's 30-day Shred, and only got halfway, but by the end of it I was seeing 228.5 (In just 17 days!). My birthday came, and I ended up falling off the wagon until about a week ago or so. Luckily I did not gain back much, I was at about 235. I've been working out again since I got my XBOX 360/Kinect last weekend, and today I am back to 233.5. For the record, I weigh myself naked every morning after using the restroom, haha. I'd like to see myself at 180 to start with. I was about 180 two years ago (I dropped 20-30 lbs after I broke up with my boyfriend, the weight dropped quickly and unhealthily, eesh.) and I felt great, just at that point where I felt clothes looked pretty damn good on me and I didn't care if my belly or sides showed.
My ultimate goal would be to get to 150, no lower. I am a tall (5'9"), chesty kinda girl, so I don't see a size zero in my future, and I am perfectly fine with that. 80lbs is a bit daunting, but honestly I am excited to do it the healthy way, to see my body shape itself to where I want it to be just by my own willpower. :)

I am at 145 right now and my goal is to get back to my healthy weight of 113lbs, since I am short : ) I'm going to be starting DC and Just Dance with Kinect. My short term goal is to lose 8 lbs in 4 weeks. I. So excited for this site. It will undoubtedly help me keep on track. I just want to be healthy for my son. Thanks Sparks!

My initial goal was 80 lbs. Once I get that gone than I can re-evaluate to see if I am as healthy as I can be or if I need to continue losing more weight. To get to my goal BMI I'd actually need to lose 100 lbs from my start weight. I am hoping to lose a total of 50 lbs. this year.

I'm going for 60-80lbs to lose! I've been dancing to Just Dance 3 and I couldn't be happier with it. It keeps me focused, entertained, and moving! So thankful for having the kinect! I really do feel like it will help me stay on track and help me get to my goals!

I was at 330 when I started and have a goal of 175 right now. When I get to 175, I believe the goal will be 140 then.
I just got a Kinect on Friday and bought Dance Central 2 & Biggest Loser Ultimate Workout. It's a fun workout so far!

Well...I started my weight loss journey at 199 and am currently at 179. I would like to see 135. However what I really want to do is fit well in my clothes and be fit enough to whatever type of exercise I want to do. My current goal is to be able to touch my toes without bending my knees.

Right now i am at 170 i would like to be 145ish again... I am not worried as much about weight as pant size... Im just built heavy at my smallest (some 12 years ago and when i was in the army) i was a size 4-6 depending on who made the pants but i weighted 145... its my goal to get back to around there... right now im sitting at a 10-12

I started at 230, am now at 190 lbs. I'm not sure where I want to end up. At the moment I think maybe 160-175, so between 15 and 30 lbs more to lose. Which would be a total of 55-70 lbs. My healthy bmi range is 150-178 (or something really close to that anyway).

At my highest weight, I was 284 pounds. I am now 205 pounds. I'd like to lose about 20 more pounds and tone up. That would give me a total loss of 100 pounds if I get to where I want to get. I lost a portion on South Beach, the rest on Weight Watchers with EA Active (Wii) and Zumba. Now I'm using Your Shape on Xbox, Zumba, and I got Biggest Loser Ultimate Workout yesterday. Played it a bit this morning. Very cool.
