Right now 320gb is the largest official drive they offer. You could try to use another external drive, but the console will format and partition it, and only recognize 16gb of it, no matter how big it is.
So basically, if you buy a 1TB drive, for example, then format it to use with the console, itís going to show up in your storage as a 16gb external storage device. Youíll be able to reformat it on the computer later, to revert it back to the 1TB, but with the console, the most non-Microsoft storage you can officially have is 16gb.
Oh! And in addition to deleting installed games off the hard drive after youíre done with them, you can also remove downloaded games or DLC that youíre not using. You own the licenses to that stuff, so as long as that content is still available in the Marketplace, youíll be able to redownload it for free!
