We got one a few weeks ago but have had to return it. It really played with the sensitivity of the Kinect and then none of the games were playing correctly. I would not recommend it. Better to try rearranging the furniture.

I rearranged the living room so I don't have to move the coffee table any more. Hubby's not sure he likes it so I told him HE could redo it. The living room is still how I did it. It was too much work for hubby to redo it!

Yeah, I had to do some re-arranging in my livingroom to take out the coffeetable. but when I do side lunges or have to jump left to right, I still end up jumping against the couch or hitting the side of the recliner to my right. So I do see your point, width is the problem.

My problem is width. I can move the coffee table out of the way for depth but not a lot I can do about a narrow room. So I don't know if this would be a help at all.

This sounds like a great idea! Haven't seen it out in Australia yet, but I'll definitly keep an eye out for it as my play space is limited as well. I have to move the lounge out of the way first!
Thanks for sharing this, it's always interesting to see the new gadgets that come out! Those of you who do have it, please let us know how well it works for you!

Glad to hear the positive reviews of this. I have plenty of width, but I tend to back into the couch. There are some games I don't think I'l use this for, but it's on my shopping list.

IGN also reviewed this and gave it a perfect score.
The main reason to use this is for distance. You can now play closer to your Kinect with this.
My personal problem is width; my living room is narrow...not too much to do there. Sometimes on the Kinect Adventures underwater game, I have to hit the wall to stop the flow of water. The Tai-Chi moves on Your Shape are sometimes hindered too.
IGN said it was easy to install (just slide on), blends in nicely with the Kinect, and actually worked. The only downfall was the photographs were slightly distorted.

For the price, it sounds worth a try. I imagine microsoft is concerned about people bumping into tv's and lack of revenues to them.

I think this would be great if it actually worked so I'm tempted to try it out....I'm putting a second xbox in my bedroom soon and this would be fantastic

I'm excited about the Nyko Zoom because I have limited play space as the Kinect is in my bedroom. I see that Microsoft isn't too excited about it. What do you all think about it? I've included a link to a review of the Zoom.
