I got the email today that I passed the CrossFit Level 1 Trainer Certificate Course. I took two days off last week to go to the course. The course was great and the coaches were amazing.
The thing is I have a good paying job and I'm never going to be a trainer but I wanted to go to the course. I love CrossFit and wanted to get better at it. I'm never going to compete - I'm 35 and still have problems with my squats and have yet to do a kipping pull-up. But I went for me. I went to make myself better and to learn more about what I love to do.
Earlier this week I got my first double unders also!! For some crazy reason I jump rope better backwards so I decided I'd just try to do a backwards double under and I ended up getting 3! Then I was able to do 25 backwards double unders in the WOD this week - although I can't string them together yet. I don't know if they would count in competition but I'm getting there.
It's been a good week for me!
