I'm on a pretty strict paleo challenge at my box. I miss dairy! I can live without grains.. I have a bad relationship with sugar so I should live without it.. but dairy! Oy, I miss it.

Fueling is still easy. I run.. I run long distances.. It's still pretty simple.

It'd be easier with a latte at the end of a run, though!

I tried Paleo, but it got me in a "diet mentality" and right away started craving foods that weren't Paleo... but I think that has more to do w/ me than the diet itself. I still eat grains (oatmeal in the morning, and usually some sort of carb w/ dinner), but really focus on whole foods, and if I can eat a veggie instead of a grain, then I make that choice.

Zone seemed really complex to me, so I didn't even attempt it. :)

What all are you doing to keep fueled?

Live each day "as if" you were the person you REALLY want to be, then someday you will actually BE that person...

Is any of the ladiez here eating paleo? Anyone follow the Zone? How do you keep your body fueled for your kickbutt wods? emoticon
