If you're creative you can generally do mainsite WODs at any gym, it just takes a little more thought and a ton of motivation. People tend to look at you like you're bananas for doinf burpees and box jumps and cleans in rounds as fast as you can. You can see the main website www.crossfit.com/ and they also tell you what each movement is if youre not sure. Doing crossfit with a buddy really helps!
Hey SIMPLYMIA...you can go to crossfit.com to see the posted WOD for the day...if u look to the left side you will see Brand X Scaled Workouts, click on that and they post the WOD for each day and the scaling for your level...big dwgs, the proch and puppies...starting u would be a puppy.....they also have whole lists of workouts you can print that include just body weight workouts, runnin WOD's, ect...just start poking around their site (LOTS of INFO)...I work out at the Y, and sometimes, especially when it is busy it is a challenge, because I am jumping from place to place...but you can work it out....let mem know if u have any questions!
