I'm with you - I know all the tips are true - feel better in your clothes, take measurements, but I too like to see the number go down.

Take great pride in getting in those jeans though! That's awesome. I squeezed into an old pair today too and hope to fit even better next week. emoticon

I know what you mean about that number under that little glass window! Remember, muscle is heavier than fat so as you Crossfit and eat clean the fat decreases and the muscle increases. Try paleo...unlike zone it focuses on more what you eat than how much...a little easier plan. My husband's website has a paleo friendly recipe posted on it every Sunday to help give you ideas. (www.crossfitsalinasvalley.com)
Focus more on how your clothes fit. You can do this!

With Crossfit your change will come in dimensions not pounds. You will find yourself shrinking inward and bulking from muscle exercises.

Don't get frustrated with the scale.
I am in your same shoes and am just as frusrated.
I am 54 and menopause is on me so it is even harder to loose weight.

But, I can deadlift 168#'s that I could not deadlift 100# a year ago. Look for what has changed not what is failing you.
You can do this.

I have been religiously logging and watching every calory for about a month...and I totally see a difference in clothes....I started zoning, and had to tweak it because I actually gained 2 pounds the first week! so now that I got that under control, I was hoping to see the scale move in a downward motion...lol....soooo frustrated!!!!! any info or comments??? ;)
