I do cardio. Either a brisk walk or a run. Or a little of both. I do Xfit MWF. On TTH I make up Xfit type routines for my Mom, Sis and SIL. A little easier than what I do regularly, but I don't miss getting my strength training in. Plus I do heavy janitorial work 40 hours a week. It's a wonder I struggle to lose weight, but I do.

My gym is calling for Tabata Something Else. Not sure I'll make it in today as there is quite a pile of work to do at the end of the semester.

When you can't make it to the gym, what workouts do you do? Something aerobic or do you make up a WOD at home?

Mondays WOD was set up to help us build strength
2x5 back squat +AMRAP(125lb, AMRAP: 5)
5x3 jerk 85lb
3x3 mini-partial HSPU
40 reps @15lb for the mighty Kroc Row!

Improvements all around even though I took a few weeks off around the marathon. Not bad all all.

My legs hurt a little today, but otherwise I'm good. Doesn't help tha I'm a waitress and was on my feet 8 hours last night and I'm pulling a 13 hour shift today!! Lol.

Great wods and times ladies!! Thursdays wod was.

4 min : 4 min x 4 amrap of
3 sdlhp @ 75
3 pull ups (I did rings)
3 clapping push ups (I did military)

I got in 21 2/3 rds. It wasn't too rough but rough enough for me lol.

Optimism is the best gift you could ever give to yourself.

I was the only one who showed for bootcamp Friday. Ended up doing the WOD:
500 meter row
7 thrusters (55#)
...x5
I substituted running for rowing as the rowing machines were always full...oh well.
It was over way too fast, so I did another WOD:
25 double unders
10 burpees
...x5
Double unders kick my butt! It was a good night.

Go for those GHD situps and pullups! It took me almost 18 months to get my pullups but they are worth the work.

Saturday my gym offers a short open gym from 8-10am. Normally I use this time to practice my limiters, in fact this was the final step in getting my pullups back.

Today we arrived late so I went for Jackie. 10:36 as Rx'd. No one was more surprised than me as I went into the WOD with a laid back "we'll just see how it goes" attitude.

I was beginning to think that this team was a ghost town. Glad to see the Crossfit women are really here.
Great wod's you guys.

My final count was 25:28

warmup 150 singles
15 airsquats
15 situps
15 pushups...(knees)
30 lunges
20 GHD situps
10 pullups..(1st decided to use the green band)

wod
2k row just over 10 minutes

4 rounds
28 wall balls
modified 12 lb ball 8 ft
28 ab mat sit ups

so I did pretty good.
I am trying for form on the wall ball and quite frankly have not had enough nerve to get on the GHD or bands for pullups...you guys are making me do more!!!

I appreciate it.

AweSome wod! Great time too! Today our wod was a crazy squat work out!

100 squats
20 cleans (full depth)
80 squats
15 cleans
60 squats
10 cleans
40 squats
5 cleans

For time, squats were body weight (or air squats) and the rx for cleans was 75. I did the wod rx!! It took me 26 mintutes.

I was wondering why there's no WOD for moving tables and chairs leftober from Thanksgiving! :)

ANYWAY, today our gym did a Messed up Filthy 50. They broke it down into 5 rounds, 10 reps of: Box Jump(24/20) Jumping Pullup, KB Swing(35/25), Walking Lunge, KTE, Push Press, Back Extensions, Wall Ball (20/10), Burpees, Double unders.

Double unders are NOT my favorite as I can only do one at a time. Still I managed to finish in 36:06 as Rx'd. Not a bad day at all.
