A former Baptist minister who is now a UU recently said that he went to a UU revival. Whenever he speaks at our fellowship I don't attend services, they're THAT bad.

Rewritten hymens, it that like born again virgins?

"What looks like a loss may be the very event which is subsequently responsible for helping to produce the major achievement of your life."

Good morning, I wore up to thunder, The weather person says the hard rain isn't the bad part, we are to expect 60 mile an hour winds. No walk this morning, a good day for reading.

MOOKBALL, you remind me. When I lived in Jacksonville FL, We had a minister that went to seminary to become a Southern Baptist minister and asked too many questions. Well now as a UU minister the baptist hadn't left him, we had revivals, complete with rewritten hymens. A UU revival is something else. I was raised UU and haven't seen a UU revival before or since.

MA: Weight loss, which will also make the stockings baggy around your hips and ankles, will also help with the other mediical problems. I know that when I lost weight many of my symptoms went away. The only one that didn't, my prominent belly fat, has to be worked off with more exercise than I am really ready to commit to. (We all want the easy way out, but I have not gone the route of liposuction, yet). I'm thinking at my age that would be more than vain.

Went to visit my son this morning and he is depressed, but luckily, still has a sense of humor, More than anything I think he needsa motivation to get him to change some of his attitudes and ingrained habits.

Then, I hit the last service at the UU today, which being April Fool's Day, was loaded with fun, jokes and the act of UU's being a little silly. We cannot take ourselves too seriously.

"Think wrongly if you please, but in all cases think for yourself."

Good morning and Happy April Fools Day. Today is my mothers unbirthday. She turns 28 today. on the 4th, her birthday she will be 29. f you ask her how old she is she will tell you 29 and some months, if you push a little , very little, how many months. I won't say, but she has 2 14 year old great grandchildren.

The stockings I bought the other day helped, but left something to be desired. Someone suggested I try a different bread. Today I'm trying the new brand, if you get what you pay for they will be better, they cost twice the first pair. I only bought 2 of each brand, so I could try different brands.

Tuesday we are having a cold front, it is going down to 80.

Good morning, We are going for a record high today and the mosquitoes are back.

I have been putting off buying any stockings, I had told DH that I was going to see if the light support would work so I didn't need to get the expensive ones, but still didn't want to spend the money. I told him that I was doing ok. Well he pointed out yes I was doing ok, but I didn't want to get out of the recliner and I kept it back so my feet were elevated. So I broke down and got a couple pairs, lets see what happens.

MaryAlice; That is so exasperating. I Went through something last month, people charging i-tunes to my credit card. When that credit card was closed and a new one issued, someone charged more i-tunes to another card. Thank goodness for the credit card fraud departments that catch these things right away. I hope they catch these cyber thiefs. It is getting so bad that I am wary of making online purchases anymore, even when online items are considerably cheaper than the bricks and mortar purchases.

My electric company is phasing out its Off Peak service at the end of the year. I heat and air condition with off peak, and last year my bill almost doubled because the major electric supplier in this area had phased out its transition "fees" for when energy choice began. Now it's an even playing field, except for the dirt clods and mole holes of 'preferred user" and wind energy surcharges, etc.

Your incident sounds like the telephone supplier switching that was going on years back.

Color, which is the poet’s wealth, is so expensive that most take to mere outline sketches and become men of science.
Henry David Thoreau

Good morning. Yesterday i was getting ready to take Mutt for our morning walk when the phone rang. It was the electric co. They said something didn't make sense. After renewing our 2 year plan in Feb, 33 days later just 3 days after our the end of our free drop date, we were changing electric companies on 1 of our meters and not the other one. The change will cost us $265. I told him we didn't change companies. There is no way we would change right after starting a new contract and we would want both meters on the same company. Bottom line we were on the phone with the electric co for almost an hour proving we didn't want to change companies, it was done against our will and we had no idea how this happened and the current company didn't pressure us into staying. I know this is a legal thing. They don't want a law suit because the consumer has free will, but if it had been up to DH alone I think we would have changed companies because he got so upset about all the hoops we had to jump though. Then when I got off the phone it was raining, so no walk.

Hi Gals:

Went shopping today and saw a beautiful bedspread that was way more expensive than I wanted to pay. On the way out of the store I passed the Clearance table and there was that bedspread set for less than half-price. I asked permission to take it out of its bag as I wanted to make sure it was not damaged. Apparently it had been the display spread. Then I saw the people in line using expired coupons, and I asked for the 20 % discount and got it. So I feel like a really wise shopper with a great bargain today.

Good morning. I went to the beach with DD, her husband and 2 year old son. I burn easy, so I lathered myself with sunscreen, put on long pants, and long sleeve shirt. I very seldom take my shoes off, so didn't worry with my feet. Some how it was decided that grandma was going to watch the 2 year old act like one of those little bird that runs down to the waters edge and back up the shore when the wave comes in. So I took up my shoes and rolled my pants up. Now I have very red feet and ankles. Mom and Daddy came down and relieved me and I spent 45 min walking on the beach. First time in years I've been able to walk bear foot on the beach. It felt so good, but next time I put sunscreen on my feet.

Cee Jay,in TX the beach is about 50 miles from me. It is along way for me, when I was a child I lived 10 miles from the beach and when I got married I was about 5 miles from the beach. DD lives about 25 miles from the beach, so she goes more often and I go with her a couple times a year

Saw West Side Story tonight at the Academy of Music in cc Philly. It was just as wonderful as I'd remembered it. I don't remember all that Spanish in the original version, but at least 50 years later I can understand it.

Took the train into the city and walked about 1 mile to the theater. I was going to cut through Macy's, but the fire alarm was going off and they were directing everyone out of the building.Hope there was no major conflagration. Macy's is housed in the old Wanamaker building, and is one of the most beautiful department stores architecturally that I have visited. There is a nine story courtyard in the center with the famous Eagle statute on the first floor. The first floor has all marble floors. Only Au Primtemps in Paris could compare.

Glad you all got in walks at the beach or the lake today.

Walking by the beach sounds good. It is windy here. I am thinking of flying a kite. I have one and might go over to the lake close by and fly it over the water so it doesn't hit a tree. It is too nice to go to the rec center, a walk over to the lake sounds good.

While it is warm enough to go to the beach here I think the waters would definitely freeze one's toes at the end of March. It takes a long time and lots of sun to warm up these northern waters, but I think Texas might have just right water. Go for it.

Good morning. I woke up with a headache, not bad, just nagging. I'm off today. DD wants to go the beach. I'm thinking going with her. I love to walk on the beach. No ozone warning today, but even if there is, there seldom is and the sea breeze blows it off.

CeeJay; I have been to UU congregations where candles are lit, but our congregation is still small (about 300 members) so the voicing of joys and concerns (under one minute please) is still spoken. In addition, at the end of each week the joys and concerns are sent out in email form under the heading "Caring Notes" so that those in the congregation who want to send out letters, emails of support or cards of congratulations or sympathy can do so. I think it is a nice touch, especially now that we have two services and the peoplle at the first service do not hear the joys, sorrows and concerns of those attending the second service and vica versa.

I've had two labs in my life and both were the gentlest, most noble dogs one could ever imagine.
While they had different personallities, one was crazy to retrieve, and the other was crazy to run, they were by far, the best animals who could tolerate all kinds of teasing and kids playing with their tails. If I ever decide to stop traveling I will get a lab as a companion.

Let my love find its strength in the service of day, its peace in the union of night.

Good morning. It is nice out now. As soon as Mutt finished his breakfast we will go for our walk. We have another ozone alert.

I saw a report by the University of PA on dog bites. This reports is based on the % of bites compared to the # of dogs, so a breed that isn't popular will jump more with one bite.
Most dogs fell between 6 and 4%.

Dashounds had the highest over all % 16 % of the bites, the only one that had enough difference between biting family and strangers to report. 21% strangers.

Pitbulls and pit bull type dogs were 5%

Golden Retrievers 1%

Labs, lab type and lab mixes 1%, but since there are so many labs, they had the highest # of bites.

Ruth, I have been sending some positive vibes in David's direction along with the ones I send to my own son. Hope all that energy your congregation sent reaches him. We have a time during our service when we can go forward to light a candle for a joy, sorrow or concern. Lighting the candle seems to help a lot of us because there are always a good number of candles lit.

MaryAlice- I'm sending some vibes your way too. Hope you find a job that is better for you.

I am guilty of being a distracted driver for sure even with the new hands free system in my car. I have stopped eating in my car. It is hard to eat a Subway sandwich in the car without dropping all the veggies in my lap and that is distracting. The CD player and radio are also distracting sometimes when I am trying to get a station that I want or change CD's. Good reminder to stop doing some of these things.

I know I have talents that Wal-Mart needs and wants. I've even had managers tell me that my accounting and cash handling is needed. It is their decision that they are short cashiers so won't let me use these talents. As for my royalties, well I can't take credit for them. My father in law was a singer/song writer. He pasted and I just happen to be married to his only living child.

Hello:

Maryalice: Royalties? You're a writer?Or some other kind of royalties? I'm am sure you have talents galore that are being wasted at Wal-Mart. I hope you are exploring new ways to use those talents.

I just read this health news article on SP.

I am guilty of talking (hands free) while driving, and I never text, but I know that women are just as guilty as teens of being distracted while driving. I often reach for something on the passenger seat or try to fish my purse out of the back seat. It usually doesn't matter if you are a few minutes late, and I need to plan ahead and allow myself more time for getting where I am going, and to pull off to the side of the road when I need to do something besides concentrate on driving. Are you ever guilty of being a distracted driver?

"It is common sense to take a method and try it. If it fails, admit it frankly and try another. But above all, try something."
– Franklin D. Roosevelt

Good morning, A nice sunny day, no alert, I'm off, so Mutt will get several nice walks. I spent most of the weekend thinking about it, when I started Wal-Mart. I said I waned to work there 10 years and I don't like not doing what I said I was going to do. I spent most of the weekend thinking about it and decided if I stayed I would be one of those people that you don't want to see at the store. So I tweaked my resume and it is Monday, I think, so I'm uploading it on all the Internet work sites and I have all ways given 2 weeks notice, but won't let it hold me back.

Freyja loves to sleep in our bed, but as soon as we went to bed she would go sleep just outside out bedroom door. Last night when I got in bed, she just moved over and let me in. Freyja stayed with me most of the night till she walked over to DH and discover he didn't like kitties when he sleeps. It has been so many years since a cat has curled up with me at night. Sure hopes she can figure out to stay on my side of the bed and sleeps with me often.

Mookball, I am 58 and had hoped to retire in a few years, but with the economy the way it is and royalties going down, it might be a few years longer then I had planed.

MA: I can remember those retail schedules, crazy. I worked retail while in school and again part time about 10 or 11 years ago to pay for car repairs. I do not envy your schedule or your job. Retirement suits me fine.

Today at fellowship I shared how a UU friend of mine told me she "prays" at stop signs and stop lights. She sends out messages for those in need, gratitudes and supplications all in a few seconds. I asked my congregation to join, in a two to five second esp , telepathetic communication or old fashioned prayer; to beam up some good vibes for my son David, whether they be get wells, words of support, caring, hope or hard line, "get your ass in gear." type messages. I hope David felt the power. I felt better for just having asked.

Good morning, to tell you how this crazy work schedule is effecting me, yesterday I told you I was working from 10:30 A to 4 P. Well I went on line to make sure I went in at 10:30 instead of 10 and discovered I worked from 4:30 P to 10P yesterday, it is today that I work from 10:30 to 4. Yesterday I also found out that so many cashier are leaving and so few are are starting that no cashier can cross train or move to another department.

We are already under an ozone alert. Not go for my seines.

Good morning, Another warm day. I'm doing a lot better. The sky have cleared, well it is foggy right now,but it should burn off in an hour, yesterday was bright and sunny and Mutt and I walked under the stars last night. Yesterday was an off day and i was feeling better, so I tried to get back in to exercise. My body said not so fast, so a couple short walks and no stationary bike. Mutt was glad to be out and about again.

80+ degrees here and it is still March! We have been taking the students outside to study- Why not enjoy it?!! Went bird watching with a science class to help a visually impaired student with his bird identification project. He said, " I don't know why I am out here, I can't see the birds!" I helped him to listen, something his teacher hadn't bother to emphasize.

Flattery is all right – if you don’t inhale

Good morning. I slept late this morning, but aren't too worried about it. I don't work today and with my crazy schedule don't always get the sleep I need. So I figure my body is just taking what it needs. I have been told that things have changed a lot since Sam Walton passed. When he was alive, employees had regular schedules.

Mookball, I can't wear anything that is tighter at the top then the ankle. I haven't found any that didn't have elastic at the top. The medical store says they don't know of any, the dr says as far as he knows panty hose are the best thing out there.

March 21 check in. Went to the theatre to see "Fela" tonight, lots of booty shaking but not much else to recommend the show, I left at intermission, hit the Dunkin Donuts five minutes before it closed and got a big decaf coffee to take on the train ride home.

My cousin and her friend arrived here after I left for the theatre, so I missed them totally. They usually stop here each year on their way to London (they get the plane in Philadelphia because the planes from Syracuse would have them waiting at JFK for 8 hours). I left wine and snacks but didn't get to share it with them. They freshened up then got a limo to the airport.

MaryAlice, can you buy support socks to wear under pants? They might not cost as much as the stockings.

Good evening. I couldn't get on SP this morning and just got home from work. 7 hours but not bad. This is the first long day since I stopped wearing my stockings. My ankle hurts a little but not much. The Dr wanted me to wear them for the swelling, but said I might not need them after I lost weight. I'm only 6 pounds from the weight he wants me at. I broke my ankle a few years back. The Dr said it would hurt the rest of my like. When I told him it didn't hurt near as much as he lead me to believe, he said that was because of my stocking. I'm guessing I wore my stockings till they were little more the the light support you buy at the store. I'm going to get e pair and see. They don't cost near what the others cost.

Good morning, My morning walk was cut short because DH was afraid I would be caught in the rain. No rain this far south, but the internet keeps going down. Hope this post.

I believe that the highest laws of life are those which we find written within our being; that the first moral laws which we are to obey are the laws which God’s own finger has traced upon our own souls. Therefore, our first duty is to ourselves, and we may never, under any circumstances, yield this to any other. I say we are first responsible to ourselves, and to the God who has laid the obligation upon us, to make ourselves the grandest we may.
Antoinette Brown Blackwell

Good morning, It is an off day so I'm off my feet. Don took beka home while I was at work. Her mom moved while she was gone, so she is going home to a new home and was nervous. I made sure she knew mine and her grandfathers phone # and told her I would check facebook regularly.

I normally try to post short quotes, but I couldn't find one I liked as much as this one.

Spring and summer cannot come soon enough for those who pay $25 or $45 for stockings. But will you be able to stand all day and work if you do not have the support hose?(I assume they are support hose, or are they for something else?

Went to visit my son early this morning then got to fellowship by the 11:15 am service. Finding more and more that the later service is the least well attended and the one that gets short shrift (as choir members do not llike to stay for both services, so music at the later service is usually not as well done. Instant choirs are just that, instant.

The City Rhythm orchestra played all Stan Kenton tunes and arrangements this afternoon at Penn State's Abington Campus. The auditorium was recently overhauled and had new acoustical walls, ceilings, new seating et al. It was LOUD and I ended up putting tissue in my ears to muffle the music. But it was a nice hear through music of the 40's, 50's,and 60's.

Ah, CeeJay was up to her neck in work and glad to see the weekend! Some of the students and teachers I work with were getting ready for state competition early in the week. 4 of our students qualified for nationals. We were also giving the dreaded Ohio graduation test to some of our students. For the seniors who haven't passed, this was their last opportunity to pass it so they could graduate.
I always have to give this test to special education students who have by this time taken the darn thing with modifications at least 5-7 times and haven't passed. They are to say the least, very discouraged and beaten down by the whole ordeal and so am I.

Today was a great day! Wonderful walk this morning in great weather!
MaryAlice, I sure hope that sinus infection goes away! I have found breathing steam helps some as well as the saline spray.

Last thing you want to see is me after taking Benadryl. I will climb the walls for 4 hours, very hyper, but not doing anything for any rhyme or reason. Then I'll fall in a deep sleep that no one can wake me from, which they want to do because I scream for 4 hours. When I do wake, I'm so tired all I want to do is go back to sleep, but my head hurts so bad. I'm told it is like I have a hangover. I wouldn't know, I don't drink. The same thing happens with Nightquil.

Sometimes an allergy medication or saline nose spray (or drops) works. The allergy medication like Benadryl, or its store brand equivalent, is great for putting you to sleep.

I also had a restless night. Got up at 5 a.m. and finished cleaning and polishing a brass table.

Then washed, dressed and headed north to a funeral for a woman 96 years old, my mother's best friend. Now ALL the siblings, aunts, uncles and friends of my mother's and father's generation are gone. Guess my cousins and friends and I will be the next to leave.

Good morning, Happy St. Patty's Day.

This cold/sinus problem is going to be the death of me. I got home at 11:30 last night, didn't get to bed till 12:15 and was up at 4 because I couldn't breath. I'm doing a lot better sitting up, but have the problems of not getting my sleep. Tonight I work till midnight, so it won't be much better.

All things must change to something new, to something strange

Good morning, I was so tired yesterday that even though I wanted stay up late cause I' working till 11 tonight, I was in bed at 9. I wore up early, saw it was still bark out. I haven't been able to walk before breakfast in so long, I jumped out of bed and got dressed for a walk. Mutt was so glad he just followed me around whining.

Yesterday I got an e-mail from my mom saying whatever I had sent her, she couldn't open because her computer said it a virus. I hadn't sent an e-mail to mom. Then DD sent me the same message. I haven't sent an e-mail to DS in years. Well this morning MSN said there was something wrong with my account and they had shut it down. I can't even get on to the MSN main page.

What has happened to Ceejay? She must be up to her neck in classroom work.

I have lots of stuff to do today for my son who is institutionalized. Trying to get his car ready to sell among other chores, all petty, but time consuming.

Good morning. I was sick yesterday, then went to work at 9A and had an 8 hour day. When I got home I went straight to bed. I'm doing better today, but still stuffy. Off to work early this morning, but only 5.5 hours.

I always cook too much spaghetti also, then have it for days. Luckily it is one of my favorite foods with bolognese sauce.

Today was the LAST day of skiing for me. This has been such a difficult season, no natural snow and very warm weather that kept the crowds away. Skiing in the early morning, when the slopes are groomed and still cold from the night was the only answer. By 11 am there was slush and that is no fun to ski in, it puts more strain on the knees and upper thighs. So while the slopes will remain open until Sunday, for me it is time to put the skis away for another 9 months

Last week I went to the Philadelphia Flower show and bought a sooper dooper spade.. Now it's time to garden...or at least get it ready for planting. I am awaiting word from my condo council as to whether or not I can initiate the garden plan the lanscape architect designed for me. I will need to rip out a lot of old plants and shrubs and till and enrich soil before I can begin to plant anew. So I guess I'll do my taxes while I await word on council's decision.

Good morning. It isn't raining this morning, so Mutt and I went for a morning walk. Only 30 min partly because of my cold and I have a 7.5 hour day today.

DH loves to fix spaghetti, but fixes enough to feed an army. On the Today show this morning Dr Oz was showing serving sizes and he showed that if you put your finger from your first finger in the the first joint from the nail on your thumb, that is how much spaghetti you should cook. I showed him that for me it was smaller but figure that even if he does his twice it will be better then what he fixes now.

--Last night''s circle dinner went well. The persons bringing the main dish brought a huge roast of beef (it must have been 20 lbs or more) and it absolutely made the evening special. Others brought interesting dishes that complimented the main dish. A delighful time with other UU's.

Not to compete with your mom's sage advice, but here is a poem that celebrates women.

Poem by Jayne Relaford Brown.

~ ~ ~ ~ ~
FINDING HER HERE

I am becoming the woman I've wanted,

grey at the temples, soft body, delighted,

cracked up by life

with a laugh that's known bitter

but, past it, got better,

knows she a survivor...

that whatever comes,

she can outlast it.

I am becoming a deep

weathered basket...
I am becoming the woman I've longed for,
the motherly lover
with arms strong and tender,
the growing up daughter
who blushes surprises.
I am becoming full moons
and sunrises.

I find her becoming,
this woman I've wanted.
who knows she'll encompass.
who knows she's sufficient,
knows where she's going
and travels with passion.
Who remembers she's precious,
but knows she's not scarce...
who knows she is plenty,
plenty to share.

Good morning, still no walk, it is still raining. Still not hard, but with a head cold I'm not going to walk in the rain. Yesterday my trainer was named Tony. Poor baby had been cooped up and needed to exercise. I spent 45 min following Tony around Sam's while DD shopped. I say follow because most people say I walk to fact, but I had trouble keeping up with a 2 year old.

Last night DD took us to Chinese buffet, I know that their soups have too much salt and other things, but with this cold soup felt so good.

I've lost the weight I gained after Daddy pasted. My tracker is right again.

I always feel better when I get in exercise everyday, not just once or twice a week. If the American workplace can install company gyms or partially subsidize worker's memberships in gyms or recreational facilities it would probably be spending a lot less on health insurance.

Good morning. I had custody of DGD Beka for a year and a half. She is back with her mother now. Until I started working at Wal-Mart, I had her almost every weekend. Now my schedule is so messed up I seldom get her. Well I can get her this weekend. Her mother just called and said that she forgot that this is spring break and did I want her for the week. I was so happy and telling one of my co-workers. A managers heard me and go upset. She said I couldn't do that. I explained to her that DH didn't have a job and the lady next door had custody of her granddaughter that was a year younger then Beka and she loved to have Beka over there. The manager then looked at me and said "well ok"

Something just came on Good morning America. The said they did some studies on employee burn out. Measuring people that got between no exercise and 300 mins a week. They found that people that got no exercise had the highest employee burn out and people that got 125 min a week had the lowest. They didn't go into anymore details, but said a group was using this info to pressure companies to g to flex hours or install gyms in their work areas.

Ah, mary Alice, we know what THAT means. (see jokes to lighten up!)

Went out to lunch this afternoon and chose a salad, when I put the info into the tracker I see that that salad and a cup of coffee came out to 611 calories (and I even avoided the dressing!).

Guess it will be beef barley soup for me tonight (only 90 Cal per cup).

hello everyone:

Keep active. Always have a goals whether it is for future travel, home or garden improvement, spending more time with others who matter or volunteering for an organization that helps man, woman and animal kind.

I am off to submit my garden plans to council and then travel to the other side of the county to see my son who has been transferred to the medical unit after he fell during a seizure and left a gash on his forehead that required stitches. I can only visit when they say, so I must go today.

Have a good day, everyone, Count your blessing and make them count.

“It's beauty a kind of radiance. People who possess a true inner beauty, their eyes are a little brighter, their skin a little more dewy. They vibrate at a different frequency.”
-Cameron Diaz

Good morning. Today is an off day. After 4 days on 1 day off three times, I'm being lazy and not doing much to day. I'll exercise with Biggest Loser tonight. This starts the start of day off day on X3 with me working to 11 P or midnight every night. Then there is no rhyme or reason to the schedule. Not that I'm sure of the reason for 4 days on 1 day off followed by day off day on X3. The joys of a computer making your schedule, there is no knowing what next week brings.

maryalice; A headache is our body's way of telling us we are dehydrated. It is not the aspirin that you take for a headache but the water that you take to down it that relieves the headache. Drink water and you will lose weight and have fewer headaches.

The strange thing is that I'm drinking about 13 glasses of water during the day. I must need to drink at night too.

That's great, Mary Alice. Your body must have really needed water.

This mornings quote is a prayer from a child.

"Dear God, do you draw the lines around the countries? If you don't, who does?"

Good morning, I'm doing much better this morning. Yesterday I woke up so sick and felt like I was dehydrated, but couldn't drink. So last night I drank 2 glasses of water right before bed and put a 32 oz glass beside my bed. Needless to say I got up a lot last night, but I woke up without a headache and a swallow of water left in my glass.

Well I'm not going to cancel the circle dinner, there's still 7 who will attend. Guess I'll just have to make the main dish. Someone suggested chili, and I have a great recipe made with Portugese wine that I would like to try.

For all those recovering from the storms.

Peaceful be heaven, peaceful the earth, peaceful the broad space between. Peaceful for us be the running waters, peaceful the plants and herbs! Peaceful to us be the signs of the future, peaceful what is done and undone, peaceful to us be what is and what will be. May all to us be gracious!

I would send a message to the rest of the group explaining what happened and ask what they would like to do. Sometimes circle suppers get cancelled. Better to know in advance than at the last minute. Just speaking from experience. Let us know how it turns out.

Well, I had just gotten back from a choral concert when I got the email that the couple who were susposed to be coming to a UU circle dinner next week were cancelling. They were supposed to bring the main dish. Should I ask them to prepare and deliver it and I will heat it up? Should I check with the organizers and see if there are others whho might want to come? Should I make the main dish myself?

If you think I should make the main dish, got any suggestions?
