I like almond milk, too. One local chain grocery is now selling their own brand. I will sometimes get coconut or the coconut-almond blend, too.

For "real" milk... well, "Pet food". You can't buy it for human use here... but a local independent sells raw milk, and we can get it in some local farmers' markets. It's expensive too, but it has a healthier nutritional profile than all the processed who-knows-what-that-is in the standard cartonized milk.

I've always been lactose intolerant, so I don't "do" cows' milk.
Love the almond, though!

I adore almond milk, specifically Silk unsweetened vanilla. I have recently discovered, however, that what I used to think was lactose intolerance was actually pasteurization intolerance, so have been able to use raw milk/raw cheese where I could never use dairy before. Great for certain recipes where you really need the reactions of real milk to get it to turn out right (like pudding.)

I like coconut milk the best. Homemade almond milk is excellent too and so easy to make. I find most store bought almond milks have a play dough after taste.

We use coconut and almond milk in our house. I personally don't drink the almond milk due to allergies but my husband does and kids will drink which ever one they reach for first from the fridge. I personally, do not drink cows milk nor do the rest of my family it's just not an option for us.

Almond milk is what I personally prefer. Silk's Unsweetened Vanilla Almond is my favourite. They use carrageenan as a thickener which is made from sea weed and has no scientific evidence behind it that would be conclusive as to it being bad for human consumption.

almond milks...I've never like cow milk but would use it for cooking. I've used almond milk in my pancake mix and it tastes wonderful...now need to experiment with other foods. I would also like to convert my kids over since there's more Vitamin D and calcium anyhow.

I can't "do" cows' milk. I love almond and coconut milks, and the blends now available. I avoid anything soy like the plague. It's no health food!
We also (well, my husband) use raw milk... although we naturally only buy it as pet food in this state. I've used small amounts of that in cooking and it doesn't seem to activate my lactose intolerance like "typical" milk.
Whole milk has a better nutritional profile than skim or low/reduced fat milks. We've let "experts" instill a fear of fats in us. It's just not accurate.
Meanwhile, I'm loving my nut milks!

I buy almond milk, usually the Blue Diamond brand. I tried the Silk brand once, but it has a lot of thickeners and extra stuff added. The Blue Diamond probably isn't perfect, but it's much better than Silk. One of these days I will invest in a cow share and have fresh, healthy raw milk. Mmmmm

I have a soymilk maker, works out very cheap. Also allows me to make sugar free soymilk for use in making yogurt and cheeses.
Sometimes I make almond milk.
