Well, now that I'm through the 21 days, I cooked some rhubarb with strawberries, chunks of ginger root and cloves, and a few pieces of pineapple (all originally frozen). I added only a touch of sweetener, and it was great with plain yogurt for breakfast.
Haven't attempted the savoury version yet, though.
So, I'm doing the 21-Day Sugar Detox, which means no added sugars or artificial sweeteners. It's Rhubarb season here.
Anyone have any ideas (besides freezing) what to make with rhubarb - even savory dishes?
I've been running ideas through my head (during my non-sleep hours through the night), involving adding an apple (am permitted one per day), and possibly some curry. I also considered squash or beets, which I am allowed one cup per day. I'm not quite sure the results, and am unsure I want to experiment (and waste the other ingredients if it's horrid)
