I so agree about Greek Yogurt, just love the creamy thick taste. Also prefer the wild caught salmon, just soak mine in buttermilk for a couple of hours then cook however and it has a wonderful taste.

I definitely agree with the "wild salmon" -- I refuse to eat any Atlantic salmon (farm raised or otherwise) because every pack I've seen in the store says "color added" and it's usually next to some Pacific salmon with it's natural color. Hummmmm. I'm not sure about on the east coast or in general, but there was a project I was working on involving contaminated sediments and we were sampling the fish food (and I think took a tissue sample of the fish as well) as well as the sediments below atlantic salmon farm raised net pens. The food fed to this farm-raised Atlantic salmon was higher in PCBs than the sediments were there were supposed to be contaminated! (they were contaminated from old military activities prior to the salmon pen).

On a positive note, I've found some Greek yogurt that's got only milk and active cultures in it (either skim or 2%) -- Fage. It is so rich and creamy!!!!! The plain tastes better to me than a lot of the other flavored so-called "creamy" yogurts taste. A little pricy, but I think it's definitely worth it.

Thanks for sharing . . . still not sure why they have fish and salmon as two different items? But, otherwise, very interesting. We all need to eat more beans, whole grains and non-starchy veggies, don't we?
