If you are bringing something from home then how about your own popcorn topped with nutritional yeast. Make your own granola. A savory party mix. A Larabar (there are a lot of flavors and you can recognize all the ingredients).
My local cineplex has nuts, fruits, and food bars.

After reading the text above I started to wonder what would be a better option to bring with you to the movies. Looking around in my kitchen i spotted the pistachio nuts. They are already pealed and are natural, not salted. 50 grams of them gives you 10.5g of protein, 280 calories and only 0.5 g sodium.
Baby carrots could be another choice, but they are probably to noisy to crunch on at the movies.
What other ideas do you have and would like to share?
