Anyone else around for our 3 year anniversary? It's taken me a few tries, but I'm down 50 lbs. I tracked my food diligently for a long time, and the data, charts, and trends were my kind of feedback. Now I'm just using the bathroom scale and my pants as a guide. For me, discovering low carb 6 months ago made all the difference. Even better, hubby saw this was something he could try, and quickly lost 45 lbs. Even through SparkPeople promotes a low-fat, high carb diet, there are active groups, hidden resources, and recipes for the low carb Sparkers.

Nasreen Kabir here am from Bangladesh live in Dhaka. Still feeling my way around here. Biggest problem lack of ability with computer, can do email but not much else. Want to do a sparkpage but cant so feel frustrated lot of the time. But glad I joined as people here are helpful & friendly.

Day 27 of the 28 day Bootcamp challenge. I feel great and I think that I may continue the challenge. Drinking water has become so much easier now. I am still focused on getting my body in shape and eating healthier. It really does help to track food consumption. I am learning so much on this site and the people are great. I just love SparkPeople We can do this!

Hope everyone is doing well. I'm on day five of the 28 day bootcamp workout and I'm feeling so awesome! Water drinking is coming so much easier to me now... I honestly think it was harder to get the 8 cups in when I wasn't being active because I drink like mad when I'm working out (easy to finish 2 cups in a 30 minute workout!)
I feel like my fitness goals are falling into line but I have yet master some of my other goals for myself. I think I need to just get better with working a daily schedule for myself actually.
I am trying to get a grip on my water consumption. When I was younger, I never liked to drink water. Then I begin to drink it by the gallons a few years ago. Then I stopped. Now I am having to force myself to drink it again. So far, I am drinking 5 or 6 glasses a day. My goal is to consume 8 glasses a day.
I'm on my 5th glass, and it's only 1pm. So, I think I may reach my goal today. As for recipes, I like trying new things. I like the ones here on SP. Have anyone tried those?
I also learned that I like Walk Away the Pounds. You can walk a mile in 15 or 20 minutes depending on which dvd or lesson you choose. What exercise are you ladies/guys doing?

@DOLPHINTIGER: Great job on your streak! I feel the same way with my water consumption. So far, so good! I'm not dying like I thought I would without my sweet tea. LOL Keep going! Together we will win!
@ERICAJO: I'm right there with ya. I have started so many times, but never continued. I hate it! This time I'm going to beat it! We can kick each other around if either messes up. LOL
@SOFRESHGIRL: I've also been seeking out healthy recipes. I love trying new recipes & get bored with the regular ones. I don't like to spend a lot of time on a recipe; convenience is key in this busy house.
@CRUISING4LOSING: Exercise is a great way to feel great. That's why I can't understand why I'd rather have eaten garbage & been lazy over the past few years rather than continued with exercise like I did in my younger years & felt fantastic. Oh well. The past is behind us. It will be hard work, but we can get past this phase in our lives & never look back.

Hello Everyone, My name is Gina. I joined on the 23rd. For the first few days, I just focused on my eating, and trying to find the right teams for me. I joined a challenge that starts on Saturday. Today I started focusing on exercising. I did some strength exercising such as wall push up, crutches, and walked a mile using walk away the pound. My legs, and arms are sore but I feel fantastic.

I'm pretty happy, I've found loads of recipies in the running and health magazines that I buy and am in the process of entering them on sparkrecipes. I'm hoping that I'll be able to actually ACT on the articles in the magazines, instead of just wishing I could be like the models!
