My reward to myself is to be nice to me instead of berating & belittling all my efforts.
It's taken 3 months to really make this small thing a habit but it's really paying off....

If I am down the five lb's I've been chasing all month by New Years I am buying new running shoes... I think I'll get pink ones like these. haha

I have a vintage Persian lambswool coat that belonged to my grandmother. Being able to fit into it will be a reward in itself. I'm generally not into fur, but being it is so old and the winters here are sooo cold....
I'll reward myself just because the sun came up, so action is really my reward for this journey.
My reward is going to be a new and feisty haircut at halfway to my goal, and I plan on rewarding myself by having boudoir photos professionally taken once I reach my goal :-)
My reward is to settle down and watch a good film. Have so many on dvd now and just don't get round to seeing them. I now 'treat myself' by watching (at least)one film when I think I deserve it!
It's really good to reward yourself. You have a sense of accomplishment when you do so.

I read this article few days ago, about rewarding yourself (here is the link www.sparkpeople.com/resource/motivat
n_articles.asp?id=86&page=2 ) and I decided to pick one of suggested rewards - buying a gift certificate.
This morning, after my weekly measurements check-point, I went to my favorite clothes store to buy my first gift certificate and it felt so great! I spoke about my goals with the shopkeeper - I want to loose the last 10kg until my birthday in January and buy some new clothes with the 10 gift certificates I will have by then!
I think I will add my gift certificate to my vision board it will be my new motivator.
