I'm happy with the Girl Scouts since they changed the oil in their cookies. It's a really sweet story. This girl, she started a campaign that they change their oil from palm oil to something not involved with the destruction of the rain forest. It's called Conflict Palm Oil, and what they mean by that is that they destroy the forests and they kill the orangutans that they come across. They beat them to death. So a lot of people are against that, of course. This campaign that the girl started was very successful, she got a lot of attention and she got her point across. Quite well! So now they use responsibly sources palm oil from farms that are managed in an ecological manner, farms that have been in operation for a long time. I don't have all the details on that, but it's way better. And so my view on the cookies have dramatically improved. I like the mint chocolate cookies. I think it's okay to have them if you have one or two every now and then. I'm sorry I missed the kids this year! I was sick in the house.
Those cookies look delicious. These are sold in the USA? I have not seen them in Canada.
