You can order them online. I'm not sure which stores carry them. They've changed the models since I bought mine.
I listen to a podcast called Fat 2 Fit. Listen to episode #141 which is about eating back your exercise calories.

The great thing about my fitbit is that it tells me how many calories I can eat. I just went for an after dinner walk and now I can eat 235 more calories. Woo hoo! My base calories start at 1500 per day. If I workout I can eat more, if I move less I have to eat less. However, no matter what fitbit says, I never go below that magic number:1200.

Be sure you're taking your measurements because even when the scale doesn't move the inches will be going down.

It is true that you can eat too little AND/OR exercise too much. It is a common problem for many people.

It sounds crazy but I have learned that you can under-eat! I'm a Weight Watchers member and they have a minimum number of points you HAVE to eat each day. Your body goes into "starvation mode" and holds onto calories.

Another possible thing is that you're going to build muscle mass and you won't see much weight loss. I've been stalled on my weight loss but have been doing intense cardio/strength circuit training 3 days a week this summer. My leader says that I am gaining muscle mass and will not see the results on the scale for a month or so. If you workout a lot, you are gaining muscle and it will take your body awhile to adjust... but the pounds will come off!

The nutrition tracker here on Spark will recommend a number of calories for you per day based on your current weight, the weight you want to lose and your anticipated fitness activities. You could try that one.

You may want to bump up your calories a bit, at least on the days you exercise. Sometimes it takes some tweaking to see what works.

Thanks! My daily calories range from 1,200 to 1,300. The classes are Zumba and body pumps- weights only 15 pounds.

How many calories are you eating? If you try to stay too low your weight loss will stall. If that happens just add 100 cals per week until your are losing consistently. There are also calculators on line that can help you figure out how much to eat according to how much you weigh and how much you exercise. I pretty much ignore what spark tells me to do and just go with what works for me.

Having said that, it IS possible to over-exercise but having seen you message, I knew you were talking about 2 hour-long classes. Balance is what you want to achieve. Those sound like reasonable classes to take.

When you got your calorie ranges from SP, they were based on a certain level of activity. When you exercise more or less than what you entered at the start, you may need more or less calories for optimal weight loss and nutrition. As you lose weight your calorie needs will change and as you increase or decrease your exercise activity levels your needs will also change.

You can change that on the weight goals section but do that only if your exercise is going to consistently be where it was yesterday. If it is an occasional thing, just ignore the message and don't let it upset you. It is feedback and you can use it to help get on track. You also do NOT have to worry about a single day being OFF according to the ranges you are given either slightly up or slightly down as long as those are not an everyday practice. It is NOT that the exercise was too much necessarily, but that perhaps your calories were a bit low for the amount of exercise you did.

With love and caring from Nancy ... wishing all of you a wonderful, blessed, and precious day.

Don't know whether your exercise included cardio, but check out "Ask the Expert" on the Spark site....

I'm new at this and feel lost. Yesterday I logged in my fitness for the day and Sparks stated I'm working out too much according to my diet intake and will not lose weight. I completed two work-out classes. I'm trying so hard, but I guess I don't know the successes yet. I'll keep trying. :)
