The whole thing with sarcasm is being able to come up with a response quickly that 1. goes with the topic at hand 2. is witty and intelligent (at least in my opinion). There are only a few people that have ever gotten me really good in the work place. For example.
Me: hey joe, you'd be so proud of me!
Joe: Oh yeah!? What's you do?
Me: I went down to the gym last night!
Joe: Oh? Did you wave at all the people exercising?
Now this may sound mean, but it wasn't. He felt bad afterward and I told him not to. He got me good and I thought it was funny. It came out of no where! I had no retort, which doesn't happen often.
So I think there is a lot of truth to the article he posted! :)
We are our own worst critics, our biggest enemies. Let's show ourselves that we can do anything, even when we are at our lowest point.
