Well said, Ray.

I am not much of a poetry person (not enough blood & gore, I like my murder mysteries), however, parts of a poem by Robert Frost have always stuck with me.

I can't remember the whole thing, but little bits...

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood
And sorry I could not travel both

And took the one less travelled

I think we all take our own road...& as long as we take a road & not get stuck at the junction, we will get there...just in our own unique way.

Stick to your road!

When you're sure you're on the right road to success you don't have to plan your journey too far ahead.

Don't burden yourself with doubts and fears as to the obstacles that may bar your progress.

You don't need to know all your answers in advance. Just have a clear idea of the goal you want to reach.

You can only take one step at a time. If you can muster up the courage to begin, you'll find the courage to succeed.
It's the job you never start that always takes the longest to finish.

Eighty percent of success is in showing up.

Rays Notes:

When I started with SparkPeople over 3 years ago I had no Idea what to do or where to go! I had a plan and a couple of goals. The plan was to triumph over the weight problem that I gave my self over the course of 30 plus years, and the other 2 were to change my eating habits and change my lifestyle...

I had no Idea how good the Sparkpeople program was or whether I could even survive the changes! Here I am 3 years later and lots of changes have come about... The 85 plus pound weight loss is the first thing! The other 2 are still being addressed and are changing daily to accommodate this Diabetic, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, arthritic, asthmatic, world that I now fight to stay ahead! I go day by day... week by week tweaking and changing things to make my life easier and so far... it's working!

Are there doubts?... every day... do I have fears?
with this set of heart tests coming up yes I have fears but I also have my family and Spark Friends supporting me and comforting me! And... God is always with me!

Will I still make my weight goal of 200 pounds? You bet I will! My goals haven't changed just the direction that I'm travelling now is slightly different! The Lifestyle, food, exercise etc are all altered but the goal still exists!

It doesn't matter what happens along your journey... just never give up on your goals! Stay positive, stay true to yourself, Stay true to your program, find out about everything that you can... Knowledge helps you understand what you not only can do, but it also helps you to make up your mind what to do!

Take your next step... Do what you have to to succeed in your pursuit of your dreams and goals!
Don't let negativity enter into the equation! I know I'm going to make my goals I'm going to be around for a long long time! I still want to have that quality of life... and nobody is going to take it from me!

For everyone reading this post... you can do it! If you want it bad enough you will do it! your goals will be met! You'll do what needs to be done to not only survive but also to thrive! Reach out for your goals! Reach for your dreams! You are the only one that can hold you back!

Remember... Don't let anyone say you can't! because you can. you always could... it's in you to win and you are a winner. Don't let anyone say anything negative... stay positive and as always...
