Gail, last time I volunteered to help, I ended up in a big funk, and dropped out. This is a great group, and most of us already do greet newcomers and read the blogs and comment, encourage, a$$whup (if needed) I'd say- just check in when you can, keep the faith, and if all of us do a little bit each day, we can get through this without it all falling on one person.
What was it Mickey Rooney and Judy Garland crowed about??? "let's put on a show" we can all do it !
Folks, I canít keep up. The job, chores, exercising, recreation and what little sparking I can do is eating up my day. I have to give up some teams because I havenít posted on them in awhile. I am NOT leaving this team but am asking someone to come forward and take my place as one of the leaders.
The job entails posting to threads regularly, reading blogs if you have time, greeting newbies and maybe occasionally doing a fitness related challenge, and this is not mandatory. If you are already doing most of these things and/or are up for the challenge, please let me know.
Quit stuffing your face and face your stuff. Be yourself, everyone else is taken. I think therefore I am dangerous. Don't make excuses, make changes.
