The number one thing that irritates me- is the way they make things to fall apart.
I have a 62 year old waffle iron... that has been pumping out waffles to my family regularly for 62 years. Why can't we buy a toaster that lasts more than 2 years?
Why can't mops be made with the same darn design? Buy an O Cedar mop- and 6 months later, can't find the same head to replace it... so you have to buy a whole new mop. So---- I buy a mop & 5 heads at the same time- but sometimes the darn things are made so badly that the pole/squeezer dies anyway.
We had the same mop handle/squeeze part for over 20 years before...
Yes, I know, planned obsolescence. Argh! I would pay extra to have well made things. Really.
(I hate string mops, I know they work, but the floor takes so long to dry...)
Direction, not perfection!
It's not a DIE-et- it's a LIVE-it!
