I posted this a year and two months ago and it served me well as long as I was practicing it, but over time, I have slipped up in my practice of most of the letters in L.O.V.E.; I'm actually eating more organic, but not always "Live" and not always "Vegetarian", but that has once again become my natural trend, without trying. I'm eating more nuts, natto, and tempeh for protein sources along with some beans. My exercise routine has slipped from the HIIT of Peak 8 to many hours of gardening, but while I was burning calories, I was missing out on the intensity unless I was pushing wheel barrels of soil, compost, or mulch up hill; that was and is intense! I'm reeducating myself to following the principles of L.O.V.E. that served me so well last year and recover the energy and weight loss that I let go over the last year.

Raw, Organic, Vegetarian foods are high energy foods, but here is another source of energy and that is Exercise.

What kind of exercise is best? Recent studies have shown that long hours spent doing aerobics may be a waste of time and even harmful to your longevity and other fitness goals.

Phil Campbell and Dr. Mercola have developed a much more efficient way to exercise to help you achieve your fitness goals and reverse the aging process. Their training method is called Sprint 8 or Peak 8. Dr. Mercola has a site that explains the training system that involves 2 to 3 20 minute sessions of intense training where the intensity last for only a total of 4 minutes and the rest is warm up and recovery movement.

The secret is that these 8 short burst of energy cause you do increase the HGH, the "fitness hormone" that gets rid of fat and increases your strength and endurance and you can do it with running, fast walking, exercise bicycles, elliptical machines, and on a rowing machine, like I do. This allows you to get your complete workout done in 20 minutes, the time that many health clubs limit you to the machines in peak hours. You have more time, more energy, will look for fit, and live longer. There is no down side. As always, check with your physician if you have any health concerns and start with fewer burst of intense exercise until you work up to the 8 repetitions.

Check it out with the attached link. If you apply it to your fitness schedule, I would love to hear of your results. I've just started it this week and I'm excited about the changes in my workout routine.
