It's been a good Sunday. Laundry put away, the house is clean, grocery shopping done, snacks for the week are prepped, meals are planned, 10 minutes of fitness done, 5 blouses ironed, school work done.

This is the second time I've been rained off of this mountain. I'm starting at the weather map in disbelief. Here we have no rain for weeks and our reservoirs start dropping and the second time I try to hike this mountain we have a huge line of storms coming.

Being swinging between great sadness and great peace. Had an argument with my mom and I came home from my visit to their house with my cats to get them acquainted with the new kittens. I'm going on vacation in 2 weeks so the cats will be back to see the kittens then. Maybe things will cool off.

Trying to remain positive and I'm not doing a good job on my own. I've been closing myself off from people instead of reaching out. I'm convinced I'm just going to be a pain in the ass if I ask for help, it's not something I'm good at because I feel like I'm just annoying the people I need help from.

I'll be off the grid a lot this summer hiking. I want to spend less time online this summer and more time outdoors. Feeling okay today this Tuesday morning. Focused on the weekend again already and what I plan to do after work during the week. Every day I will walk 1 mile or do something else to get my 10 minutes of fitness in. If it rains, I'll run up and down the stairs in my apartment building for 10 minutes if I have to and lift weights.

Okay no walking, I am in total agony with this pulled back muscle. I didn't react well to the therma care patch and now have burns over the entire area the patch covered. Not quite ready to use a heating pad. What a crazy situation to be in. Home taking care of myself so I don't further increase these injuries and I'm overall feeling miserable. My body has hit the wall and the tank is empty. I have good medicine for the burns so I hope they heal up fast. They're air drying now after an antiseptic wash, thank goodness for the pain killer in the wash after that initial sting. Yikes what a day huh?

Positive mind though, even though the body rebels.

Planning to get in a walk this evening after we get home from the communion. Got a really bad chemical burn from one of those stick on therma pads. I don't plan on ever doing that again. Hopefully it will heal up fast. My parents are bringing over some first aid stuff for me so it's easier to wear a shirt. Yeah it's pretty bad actually. I didn't walk yesterday because of my back. I won't let it side track me too much this week.

I'm staying positive so far and we might be headed for a warm up starting next weekend. Five days in a row predicted to be in the 40's which is a huge jump start for nice weather and snow melting. That will also double the temperature we've had to get used to this past month. The cold we've been stuck with is just unacceptable. No, staying positive! It'll be nice before we know it and we'll be stuck with the hibernation weight if we don't get a jump on things now!

I need to get some good work done this week for myself.

The temperature seems to be creeping up into the 30's over the next 10 days but it's too soon to tell if this is a warm up. Now the early daylight saving time will be more welcome than usual. Take my hour and give me the illusion of a later sunset and get the idea of Spring going. I need to grab a shower and get the shopping done today. Better early than late.

Into December now and can you 3#RunLikeRudolph? That's 50 miles tracked with our SPAT this month. I got it last year. One of my resolutions is going to be to win all 12 trophies for the SPAT challenges in 2015. This year I missed July, August and November. I'll do it easily next year!

My poor SPAT lost 6 days of data after having a battery problem. I had a lot of green lights this week too. I guess I'll just have to make up for it this week somehow. Bought a neck gaiter and a head band to keep my ears warm on winter walks. Bought new running shoes too.

Woke up sad today and resenting my job and school. It takes away from so much of my life. Two of my dear friends are getting married next weekend and I can't go because of work. Need to step up the fitness this Fall. It's hard to keep up with the demands of school and work right now. Looking forward to this three day weekend. Still playing catch up, but I'm almost there and done. Then I can start to get out ahead and relax a bit.

Lesson Learned from buying my apartment.

~Make sure you live in a place with an outdoor area. Whether it be a tiny patio or balcony, or a huge yard. Make sure you have instant access to the outdoors and then create your sacred space there. Even if it's just a comfortable outdoor chair to have your morning coffee on. Do something with your outdoor space.

~Why: the outdoors helps reduce your stress levels. Sitting outside brings you peace and serenity you cannot achieve being inside 4 walls. We are an animal species, designed for wide open spaces in nature. Take advantage of that.

22 more days to go. I don't mind time slowing down on June 26th but for now, things can go as fast as they want to. Staying positive, staying off of Facebook which has become yuck fest as usual. Too hard to just get to the good stuff, things keep happening.

Another Daily Inspiration

The Law of Least Effort: Nature's intelligence functions with effortless ease, with carefreeness, harmony, and love. And when we harness the forces of harmony, joy, and love, we create success and good fortune with effortless ease.

I will put the Law of Least Effort into effect by making a commitment to take the following steps:

1. I will practice acceptance. Today I will accept people, situations, circumstances, and events as they occur. I will know that this moment is as it should be, because the whole universe is as it should be. I will not struggle against the whole universe by struggling against this moment. My acceptance is total and complete. I accept things as they are this moment, not as I wish they were.
2. Having accepted things as they are, I will take responsibility for my situation and for all those events I see as problems. I know that taking responsibility means not blaming anyone or anything for my situation (and this includes myself.) I also know that every problem is an opportunity in disguise, and this alertness to opportunities allows me to take this moment and transform it into a greater benefit.

So they changed the way the team pages look and it's not too bad. I'm not sure how often I'll use the 'team wall' but for positive announcements it might be cool. I don't see the huddle anymore and I loved that. I'll post again if I find it. Team Leaders got an email about the changes and of course those where in the two days I didn't log in!

Law of Pure Potentiality: The source of all creation is pure consciousness. Pure potentiality seeking expression from the unmanifest to the manifest. And when we realize that our true Self is one of pure potentiality, we align with the power that manifests everything in nature.

I will put the Law of Pure Potentiality into effect by making a commitment to take the following steps:

1. I will get in touch with the field of pure potentiality by taking time each day to be silent, to just Be. I will also sit alone in silent meditation at least twice a day for approximately thirty minutes in the morning and thirty minutes in the evening.
2. I will take time each day to commune with nature and to silently witness the intelligence within every living thing. I will sit silently and watch a sunset, or listen to the sound of the ocean or a stream, or simply smell the scent of a flower. In the ecstasy of my own silence, and by communing with nature, I will enjoy the life throb of ages, the field of pure potentiality and unbounded creativity.
3. I will practice non-judgment. I will begin my day with the statement, "Today, I shall judge nothing that occurs", and throughout the day I will remind myself not to judge.

The Law of Intention and Desire: Inherent in every intention and desire is the mechanics for its fulfillment. Intention and desire in the field of pure potentiality have infinite organizing power. When we introduce an intention in the fertile ground of pure potentiality, we put this infinite organizing power to work for us.

So I need to restart the Skinny Jeans challenge, I was away mostly without internet for a week and so I missed just about all of the challenge so far.

I want to reduce my wheat intake.

I want to ride my bike at least 3 days a week.

I want to earn more 'Glow Getter' trophies from workouts, not daily walking.

I wan to admit my eating is out of control right now.

It's Monday and I'm feeling okay. I should make sure I go to Yoga tonight no matter what. I need to make sure I'm taking my time for me. No one has the right to make me feel like I'm not allowed to go to Yoga and it's not fair that I should feel guilt and sickness for wanting to go tonight.

Okay the mountain of papers is still there. I'm so doomed with things to do today and tomorrow. I don't like Spark's new pop up advertisements, sometime they're hard to click out of. Slightly sleazy tactic, but then that's the nature of advertising, they're just doing their jobs.

Feeling good this weekend. Stopped grading the mountain of papers and went on a 1 hour walk/run instead in the sunshine. I'll stay up late and finish the work tonight. Balance. I have to learn not to hate the week so much. Only 51 days left until Summer Vacation, I can focus on that being the positive. It's really almost over.

Hey team. Things have been a bit out of hand and crazy lately and I fell like I'm losing myself in this work again. I have to get it all done and that leaves nothing for me at the end of the day. Last night after working an extra hour at my job I worked from 5:30 to 10pm last night.

My job was never supposed to ruin my life. It was supposed to help me live a good one, not make me hate being alive. No you can't leave a job like mine, not with this many years in and my benefits and pension at stake. I've already invested over a third of my life into this career and I did it for the benefits so I can retire safely and not work until i'm 85.

Need more balance. Continuing to work hard on changing my negative thoughts when they start. Weight starting to come off. A few more weeks until a lovely Spring Break vacation with dad up in Maine, hiking and riding my bike and enjoying the scenery. If I stop playing game with my food choices I could really lose 8 more pounds for my vacation, I'll feel a lot better if I do. The good weather has been reluctant to return but it's going to sneak up on us fast now.

If I really am at 174 like it said and I can work out all this week and next and watch my eating I can make my February 28th goal of 170 pounds and start off March right. Then my March goal will be 165. It's a big challenge but it's very possible to accomplish.

I know I've been dying for the good weather but nothing is stopping me from going to the gym but me. I'm keeping my membership and I need to use it! Best decision to not get rid of the YMCA, what was I thinking?
