Well, I was very bad on my vacation and at lots of goodies. However, I also was on my feet and busy the whole time so when I weighed in upon return my weight was about the same.
There are many tempting foods at this time but I am getting over a stomach flu so I have no appetite. I am having a small Christmas dinner next week and trying to think what to have that won't be a ton of food and yet pretty healthy.
Oh boy the holidays. going to my son's. Daughter in law always cooks a lot of veggies. My downfall is the stuffing, my fav. I am making cabbage rolls for my part. Its the goodies that get to me. I love cookies and fruit cake and mincemeat pie. I am stuffed just thinking about it.
Lots of water to control the urges, that does make sense.
I didn't consider drinking lots of water, I am sure that will help! I also will be making a lot of veggies and loading up on those. I have also been very careful to be at a deficit all week and pla to give away or throw out the less healthy dishes.
Last year I looked up the calorie count for the food I would normally eat at Christmas dinner. Then I made some choices that stayed closer to my calorie limit. I also kept active and as always drink lots of water - no alcohol
