I was doing pretty well until yesterday, I got a bad hair color job and I've been so upset. I know it's not the end of the world and supposedly the salon is going to give me a date to go back and fix it, but I spent money hoping to have a bit of a feel-good makeover and ended up working the opposite way. I overate, too. emoticon I'm going to go to the gym now and see if I can generate some endorphins and feel better.

I've had a hard time staying on track. I overate today, but at least I didn't give in the temptation of buying cookies or crackers. Tomorrow I'm working earlier in the day, running errands in the afternoon, and meeting a friend in the evening. It'll be good to be out of the house because I'm much more likely to overeat when I'm home.

I'm glad your feeling better HEALTHY-V!

I've had a busy day with work and family stuff (son had baseball practice and in-laws anniversary)

I'm ready for a quiet evening, work early tomorrow again

tonight instead of having a big bowl of ice cream ( like I feel like) I'm having a 45 cal. fudge pop

Today was very stressful with family issues but I am so glad I didn't fall off the wagon so to speak. I ate healthy even when out in a restaurant. By the end of the day I was so happy that I didn't fall prey to emotional eating. A big victory for me. Now after a bath with epsom salts and lavender essential oil I am feeling great. emoticon

Gamin2, sorry to hear you had a bad day. Hope tomorrow will be a better one for you.

My day was good, but I ended up overeating in the early evening. Grrr! I journaled today, but I guess I needed to get some more stuff out. I spent a super nice afternoon with a friend. I don't even know why I overate. I'm looking forward to spending the day with friends tomorrow and getting things done around the house.

Thanks for the good wishes Finnlana. And it's great you were aware of your emotions and caught yourself this afternoon. Being aware of my emotions (and stopping the overeating in response to stress) has been very hard for me and I've told myself I'd start journaling again to gain more insight into what's making me anxious or use it as an outlet, but haven't done it yet. Now that I'm writing about it here I'm thinking maybe I ought to give it a try this weekend... at least write Saturday and Sunday and see if it helps...

I had a good day. I slept in this morning, had a bit of a slump in the afternoon, but then spent the evening with some friends and it was great :)

Thanks, Tweety. I'm hanging in there. The last couple of days have been crazy, but thank God my body keeps fighting the cold. In the past 48 hours I only got 5 hours of sleep altogether and had to spend a lot of time outdoors for work and I'm grateful I was able to do it. I'm exhausted now, but happy and looking forward to getting a full night's sleep :)

I did well today, but ended up avoiding having a conversation that I have to have. Ugh, why is it so hard for me to say stuff to people?! And it's not even anything big. Anyway...

Jomama, I hope the rest of your day went better and that you were able to get your mind off of it. Maybe you ate more salt yesterday and just retained water. I have low blood pressure and sometimes I add extra salt to perk myself up, but I do notice it shows on the scale the next day :/ Maybe we can both take a break from the scale for a few days. I said I was going to do it, but I've been a little obsessed trying to see if the weight I gained drops off.

I'm feeling better and had a good day food and exercise-wise... productivity is another story... I wanted to get some stuff done before going in to work tomorrow, but didn't. Hope to make some progress before I go to bed. Overall I'm happy I was more focused on the present and that I wasn't tempted to overeat.

Yesterday was another bad day for me. It started off well, but I ended up getting really depressed and instead of reaching out to others I wallowed in self-pity -not a positive attitude! I'm feeling better today and I'm determined to take steps to keep a positive state!

I am having a rough emotional night. I have some family issues that blew up in my face and I am trying to remain calm. emoticon

It isn't easy and I really just want to resort to old tactics like stuffing my face! emoticon emoticon

I won`t do it, I will keep up my Spark and vent here and try to deal with this in a healthier manner

And I will go and bike for a bit and listen to some relaxing music to help me cool off emoticon

Jomama, it's so awesome that you've exercised for 77 days in a row! And hang in there! The scale will eventually move in the right direction!

I'm having a hard time. I just can't seem to get back on track and, after overeating on and off for the last few weeks now, this week I gained weight :( On the positive side, I've got to say that while I've eaten highly caloric stuff, I've stuck to pretty much natural, unprocessed foods. I really need to work harder on sorting out what's driving me to eat and finding another outlet to release the anxiety/frustration/etc. I've been also fighting the "it's all ruined" mentality... I no longer want that to be my M.O.

All right... tomorrow is a new day...

I didn't sleep at all last night and I'm not feeling well at all today :( I need to take things a day at a time; I've been driving myself crazy in the last few days. I'm looking forward to going to bed early today and hopefully having a good night's sleep!

my day was full of anxiety with a touch of depression coming on as the day progressed until I took a nap from 6 to 9pm and that helped change my mood emoticon

What a crazy and exhausting week this was! Today I woke up at 11:00 and went back for a nap from 2-4 pm! I went walking with a friend from 5-7 and now I'm back home and feeling pretty good. I did well with food, too, today. Sleeping well and getting enough rest makes such a difference!

I have to do some work tomorrow, so I hope I'll wake up energized and ready for it! :)

The last two days were crazy busy and only got three hours of sleep each night --one because of insomnia, the other because I had to work late last night and again super early this morning. I don't even know how I'm still up! Yesterday was good, but today I overate; I was tired and hungry all day long. I hope tomorrow will be good and I'm looking forward to the weekend to catch up on my sleep!

It was a good day. I got quite a bit done! I didn't make it to the gym, but I did well with food. I had a doctor's appointment that went well and I'm looking forward to a busy day at work tomorrow.

Evening went great did what I set out to do as far as exercise buuuut dinner...darn clean plate club (not just my plate either).

I had a good day, not as productive as I would've wanted, but good. I went for a very long walk and caught up with a couple of friends I hadn't spoke to in a while. It was nice :) I do need to get a lot of stuff done tomorrow, so I hope I'll be better in the productivity department!

Had a stressful day, and I really wanted to go off the deep end with food, but I haven't given in to the cravings! I did 52 minutes of low impact aerobics with a Leslie Sansone DVD before work this morning! I will have a sugar free Jello Chocolate pudding to see if it will keep the cravings at bay!

I'm feeling frustrated with myself this evening. I can't seem to get fully back on track. I do okay for a day or two and overeat. I've been meaning to journal or blog, but haven't been doing it and I think maybe I need to start because it might help channel whatever it is that creates the need to overeat.

Hoping tomorrow will be better.
