Thanks for your cheers and support!

Since my stance the other day:
My husband offered half his peanut MMs..as usual in past...no, thanks.
Husband/son came in with cookies from their Walmart run last night..no, thanks.
Son bought Hershey kisses for a friend at school, extra in bag... no, thanks.
Had a peanut butter sandwich at home vs McD extra value meal with fries..yes!

Some say don't deprive..for now..I'm treating the sugary, empty, fast food junk as poison to me. I feel like an addict in withdrawal stage..empty calories are my drug..seriously!!

Know what? I physically feel so much better and mentally I feel I am daily winning the battle with fast and favorite unhealthy fixes. I am so happy this team has successful "losers":) who post regularly.
With tax season around the corner..as a CPA..if I can ride through tax season an its loooong days and niiiiiiights..keeping this mental determination...I'll be one, proud "cookie"!!!!

I ahd a wake up call too.
It knocked me clear around.
We learn from these relationships we call addictions with food.
The Fatty Liver disease can be reduced with proper diet and exercise. Good luck

Your declaration is loud and clear. I identify with your struggles, and please keep us updated. Let us know what's working for you, and what is not. You are not alone!
My love affair with food addiction is tired. It no longer is working for me, and feels like such a terrible burden. I too want a divorce.

WTG. Making the admission and the decision to change is half the battle. Print your post and stick it where you can see it and remind yourself everyday why it's so important to stay on this journey. emoticon

Completed my annual physical exam with doctor on Tuesday:
Had to draw blood two times since the first draw sample had elevated liver enzymes
Fatty liver..surfed it on internet..one major cause..Poor diet, no exercise.
Was at 205 this summer..235 on doctor scale

My wake up call..At 51, the jerk around mode has to stop.
No more false fixes for dealing with my stressors.
I'm switching to healhy food fixes and more physical movement everyday.
I have to, got to, MUST or long-term health problems will occur.
My 25 year honeymoon with food addiction is OVER..
