I am reading Mindless Eating by Brian Wansink, Phd. I am finding it very informative.
I also enjoyed the Volumeterics Eating Plan by Barbara Roll,Phd.
I also enjoyed You on a Diet
Happy Reading

Body for Life for Women is one I have enjoyed, as well as You on a diet! Both good picks! The power of possitive thinking helps with all aspects of life including weight loss! Good Luck! Jodie

A book called "Diets Don't Work" by Bob Schwartz. I read it a few years ago. It's not necessarily appropriate for the gym as it is somewhat of a workbook where you have to answer questions but it is a great book. It really gets into you and your relationship with food. It's a little dumbed down, but if you actually do with work, you learn a lot.

I have read many over the years. Geneen Roth has written several. If you go to Amazon or Barnes and Noble you can find some.

I am enjoying YOU: On a diet because it gives you medically sound ideas on how to combat hunger etc by really simply and somewhat comically explaining how your entire body functions.

Anyone know or have already read a good weight loss book that deals with emotional eating or just a good weight loss book in general? It would be nice to have something new to read at the gym.
