A book called "Diets Don't Work" by Bob Schwartz. I read it a few years ago. It's not necessarily appropriate for the gym as it is somewhat of a workbook where you have to answer questions but it is a great book. It really gets into you and your relationship with food. It's a little dumbed down, but if you actually do with work, you learn a lot.
