Thank you all for your advice. I am trying to get into see my doctor this week. You are all such wonderful, caring people. It is very comforting to know that other people care...especially with my fiancé out to sea (he's in the Navy).

I agree; seek medical advice. My daughter died in utero during my 7th month of pregnancy. We had been dealing with infertility issues for 10 years and this was my first pregnancy via artificial insemination. I was devastated!! We continued a second time with the artificial insemination and our son was born 9 months later (healthy!). Please do not give up!

PS I conceived naturally 6 years later and my youngest son was born. emoticon emoticon

Please go see the doctor to have things confirmed. I was three months along when I had a miscarriage. I cried for days and what got me through it was reminding myself that everything has a purpose and this was something I had to leave in Gods hands.

Also, my doctor told me that most miscarriages happen because there is something wrong with the embryo so wouldn't have had a fulfilling life if did carry full term. Thinking about it that way almost made me selfish for wanting to bring a child into the world that would have such terrible challenges.

There is no magic cure for the heartache. It's what is finding what works for you. You are in my prayers.

Please go see the doctor. A woman on spark had a daughter that thought she was pregnant, but the home pregnancy tests kept coming back negative. To her surprise she gave birth to a baby girl. My Mom had 4 miscarriages before me, her 5th child and only girl.

Don't lose heart. I was told that I didn't ovulate and the medicine couldn't force me to ovulate. When I gave up and a year later gave birth to a healthy baby girl. She is now 16 and driving me nuts.

Excellent advice! Go see your Dr. They will do another urine test with the best test system on the market and they can write an order for you to have bloodwork done to confirm it without question. There are other reasons besides pregnancy that a pregnancy test might be positive, but your physician would need to know aobut the result to adress those types of issues.

Good advice Debbieanne,
Go see your doctor. Home pregnancy tests are not always accurate. My negative result (more than once) is now 25 years old.

I found out on Wednesday that we were pregnant and my fiancé and I were ecstatic. Something didn't feel right so I took a pregnancy test today and it came back negative. I haven't actually started bleeding and I am not sure where to go from here....I have had two previous MC's, but bled with them (that's how I knew). Has anyone else experienced this? Do you have any advice? And how do you stop crying and feeling completely devastated and not just want to throw in the towel?
