I don't really find it hard. It's a change but a good one. I find myself enjoying the plain Greek yogurt that I mix with my own stuff. I didn't really like the pre-mixed kind. I also love almond butter and some of the other things I have tried. I lost 4 lbs this week so far but it's not yet time for my weigh-in.

What do you find hard about CarbLovers? It's pretty much my "bible." I don't follow the exact meal plans, but usually 1 or 2 of my meals a day are from it.

back. I'm glad you enjoyed your vacation. A month of not worrying about what you put in your mouth and you only gained 5lbs???? I think you made better choices than you are letting us believe. Great job and now that you are back it's back to business!!!

Deb, I am diabetic. I never let that come between me and my Krisy Kremes. The Carb Lovers diet is based on whole grains and beans. Also known as the "good" carbs. Lots iof nuts and Greek yogurt as well. Basically SP or any other healthy diet. Slowly making changes.

It sounds like you enjoyed your vacation!! That's a great time to eat krispy kremes... as opposed to part of daily life. Dont' be hard on yourself for gaining... just say today is a new day...

I was on vaction this month. A vacation from home and from watching my intake and keeping it healthy. As a consequence, I gained 5 lbs. What was I thinking? Krispy Kremes!!!!!!!!! Really???? Off my rocker, I guess. I had been thinking about doing the Carb Lovers diet so I started this week. It's hard and it's different but it keeps me on my toes. I actually think it's working. A few people at work have done it and liked it so I thought I would give it a try. Need to do something so my winter clothes are not too tight. So, anyway, here I am back in the proverbial saddle again. Thanks for having me.
