Vickie, we all fall now again, it is part of the learning process, we learn from our failures/mistakes, but if we can get back up and try again, that really is the true lesson. We can all do this, and falling off is not the problem it is finding the courage to get back on and do the best you can, I know you can, you have already proven that by having a good start.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful Saturday? I just wanted to say that I think everyone is doing a great job and keep up the good work. Myself, I kind of fell off the diet wagon the past few weeks mostly due to stress. After reading a lot of the posts here I have decided that I'm not going to use that as an excuse and keep plugging away. My health comes first!

I do not know why, but even though I LOVE chocolate, all my life I have been able to eat just a little and put it away for another day. I wish I had that same control over the rest of what I put in my mouth. I am working on it. I know it will be worth it in the end to be able to look a a bowl of potatoes and not want to eat more than I should. Good Luck to all.

I am also like my starches. Potatoes, breads, and pasta's are a huge weakness for me. I don't eat alot of sweets. Occasionally I will eat a piece of chocolate, then I don't touch it again for a long time. Good luck to your new life changes.

For a meal there is nothing I like better than a big helping of potatoes or pasta, that has been the hard thing for me this week is my portions of those. In the past for my lunch I would fix a big plate of fries, nothing but fries for my lunch. I guess I won't be dong that one again. I do keep chocolate around incase my sugar get to low as I am diabetic as well, I know I have been glad to feel weak and such for an excuse to have the chocolate. So to change that habit, I went out and bought small cans of orange juice and put then in the fridge, now if my sugar does get to low I have those. My mother in law used to do that, she was diabetic and that is how she handled blood sugar dips.

i am not really a sweet eater, but i can relate to chocolate- hersheys special dark is a real weakness for me. i am a starch-a-holic. and a diabetic so i do keep a few pieces of chocolate in the freezer for when i have a reaction and my blood sugar gets low. and only for then. sometimes i actually look forward to the reactions so i can have the chocolate. andra

hello i have been with sparks for 3 weeks now. i also love chocolates fav. is peanut butter cups, love them but i haven't had one in 6 months,. since being on my diet, i found zingers, chocolate zingers that are weight watchers and they are only 80 calories so if i find that i need a chocolate fix they do the job. i hope this helps

Evie, I am a chocoholic, love it. I love things like HoHos and such. I love to keep chocolate candy in the house, my fave is snickers w/almonds followed closely by kisses. This past week I have resited temptation on more than one occasion. Today I needed to pick up brussel sprouts for our dinner. It was so hard not to get HoHo or a snickers as I was checking out. But I did resist, I know from my past that once I get it out of my system for awhile I will not crave them. (only been with SP 1 week) But I do have a back up plan, I have a few sugar free bite size candy's here, so if I get an urge that will not be satified any other way, I can indulge without to much guilt.
