I have used cinnamon in different ways. Let me first say that I have always liked cinnamon and do not see where it curbs or controls appetite. When I found I was diabetic I read on the internet that cinnamon was good for diabetics to control their sugar. So after reading a few posts on SP I decided to buy the pills. They upset my stomach each time I took them so I stopped. If that is how it controls appetite, it worked. I did not want to eat after taking the Cinnamon Pills 100mg(found in almost any pharmacy).
As for daily use of cinnamon, I use it on almost all my meats. When I season my meats, before cooking, I use cinnamon as one of the seasonings but very lightly. It has a very strong flavor. I used to add it to my buttered toast but since I gave up butter toast, as a step to healthier living, I don't anymore.
Here is a good website for more information on cinnamon. Note the disclaimer states that this is just for general information and you should consult your physician. www.thyroid-info.com/articles/cinnamon.htm
