I enjoy cinnamon in all the ways shared.

In Mexico they often add a cinnamon stick to the coffee when brewing it. It is quite tasty, too!

The way it was explained to me is, cinnamon doesn't suppress your appetite but instead keeps your blood sugar from drastic dips, keeps it level to a certain degree. Which I guess would keep you from starving? I dunno but I use cinnamon a lot for flavoring in almost everything.

I have used cinnamon in different ways. Let me first say that I have always liked cinnamon and do not see where it curbs or controls appetite. When I found I was diabetic I read on the internet that cinnamon was good for diabetics to control their sugar. So after reading a few posts on SP I decided to buy the pills. They upset my stomach each time I took them so I stopped. If that is how it controls appetite, it worked. I did not want to eat after taking the Cinnamon Pills 100mg(found in almost any pharmacy).
As for daily use of cinnamon, I use it on almost all my meats. When I season my meats, before cooking, I use cinnamon as one of the seasonings but very lightly. It has a very strong flavor. I used to add it to my buttered toast but since I gave up butter toast, as a step to healthier living, I don't anymore.

The best and most surest form of appetitie suppressant is the power of our own mind. Just saying no does work. Give it a try.

Often we aren't really hungry, we are feeling suppressed emotions that we don't want to face.

Being an emotional eater, this runs in our lives. We must take control, face the fears, and overcome them.

It is a matter of growing up actually, instead of finding magic pills, easy way outs, and avoidance.

I love to bake an apple and sprinkle it with cinnamon and add a smaaaaaall amount of raisins and topped off with low cal vanilla yogurt. It makes a wonderful dessert.

I will NOT run emotionally from compliments and hide in fat layers for protection.

-Sticking to the Flat Belly Diet (1400 calorie diet)
-Doing the Biggest Loser Last Chance Workout DVD 5 days a week as directed
-Maintaining a CLEAN house (while I am not working)
-Finding a job
-Eating out only ONCE the entire month!
-Drinking 8+oz water at every meal

I sprinkle it on alot of things...it's good in yogurt and with honey on toast. It is supposed to be good for memory, metabolism, and many other things....even to ward off a cold.
