So, today I went to our local hospital's fitness center and worked out for 45 minutes. My eight-year-old daughter was with me.
When we were done, she stepped on the Professional Health Scales in the hospital changing room there and said, "Why don't you weigh yourself, Mom?"
I thought, why not?
So I stepped on the scales and it showed me as being seven pounds LIGHTER than my scales at home. Even though I had all my clothes and shoes on, and it was late afternoon.
Tonight, my daughter stepped on our home scales, and it showed her as weighing seven pounds heavier than the hospital scales.
My husband says it's a mute point, because the scales here still record my weight-loss, no matter if they are accurate or not. I know he's right, but . . . .
So how come I so want to go and buy a new set of scales?
