Put the word horse in the place of the pig and it just DOES NOT FIT!!! Horses are beautiful, but yes,
they do sweat. Can't get a visual on that one though,

i am proud of you . avoid the pitfalls of eating what you know are your trigger food . come on girls lets give mom a little bit of support her also. daughter is the one on the diet . maybe mom wanted some and they aren't her trigger food . she could have been a little bit better at putting them up. but in life you are going to run into many temptations and you are in charge not the other people . control is best when done with help but at times you can not expect others to help . deal with it . emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon hubbys are a different story they are supposed to help no matter what with no questions asked . they are your other half .

Salt and Vinegar chips are my down fall as well. i cannot have them in my house unless I plan for them in my days calories. Even then, I have to put them out of sight. Sometimes that doesn't work. I'm lucky in the fact that my dh and daughter like chips that I can't stand, so I will buy them their's and then I'm not tempted. I do have to have something salty, so I have been eating pretzel sticks. I crave the salt.

BELLACUDDLES: I agree with you. Baked is definitly better and I have the 100 calorie baked chips AT HOME. I did not think to bring them to my parents.

I knew my resolve would break sooner or later so at the store here, I was lucky to find a small bag of baked chips for 120 calories. not too bad.... feel a lil guilty but it is better then the bag I am resisting in the first place. lol

thank you everyone for the encouragement i realy appreicate it!!!

I am lucky at my house I do almost all of the shopping so I get to pretty much control what comes in. When I do bring "junk food" in I try to keep it where I don't have to look at it every time I enter the kitchen. Maybe a cupboard or drawer that is off limits would work.

Anyway, great job fighting the temptation.

I didn't do so well at a party on Thursday night.

sometimes the temptation is too much so i have to get rid of it. i have thrown out food that i know i want to binge on. if this is your house, i would feel free to do that. if it's your mother's house, then i think i would sit down with her and talk about what is really going on. good luck and emoticon for resisting!

Wow, I really admire your strength to resist those chips! I agree that it was kind of inconsiderate for your Mom to bring them into the house and leave them in the open, especially if she knows your triggers!

I tried really hard to resist chips last night but I was starving and then got frustrated about something silly. My frustration took over and I pigged out on chips & salsa. I felt disappointed with myself after but I've moved on and today is a new day.

Keep up the good work of resisting those chips. Potato chips are not a problem for me, however, the sweets are my issue. It is hard to resist those cookies in the cookie jar. Which are there for the kids for dessert after dinner, but so far, I am persevering too.

Keep of the good work. You can do it.

I try not to bring them in the house too, but when we do buy chips, I find the 100 bags of chips sp if I absolutely can't resist I have one of those, and don't feel so bad after. Its an easy potion to manage into my diet.

KHARYZMA, Chips are a trigger for me too. My hubby
brings them into the house. We now have an agreement
for him to NOT bring them into the house. He can have
them in his vehicle if he HAS to have them! Every little bit of support helps. I could not resist an
open bag in the house. PUT THEM OUT OF SIGHT!!! Or have your mom put them somewhere so you can't see them, if she will. Good luck and God bless you! Sher

I have a hard time resisting temptation when it comes to eating chips, but then I remember how hard I worked to get to where I am now and how sick I feel when I eat potato chips, and the temptation goes away. Keep up the good work on your weight loss.

I have many foods I can not resist but the biggest one is Potatoes Chips of any kind or brand. I am frustrated bc last night my mom bought a big bag of chips and left it where i can see it. I mentioned to her that was not nice of her to do....to bring my trigger into the house, I asked her several times if i could open the bag she said no and guess what I still have not had any!
I am persevering!!!! but the temptation is still high....cross my fingers that i can resist the now open bag of chips......
