Ya know when your tired and don't feel good you have no energy so we just don't care. Being over weight for me was the biggest problem I hurt so bad and walked like a duck. But since I have been here I am much better now but it took 1 and a half months to get any energy for me.

Exercising seems to be limited right now for me. I work at night and every shift cuts into 2 days. I get some walking in, but how do you count the reaching, bending, pushing and pulling that I do with patients? And how do you count the time? It's here and there when needed. I do have my days when I pack and lift boxes. I have my Ab Lounger, but I haven't yet made a habit of it and soon it will be packed away.
I'm hoping after I move and find a house I can tap on you guys to really get me going.
The other thing is - what happened at 50? My body has changed so much. No more sloughing off the pounds. They're like glue!

I just read an e-mail from sparkpeople where you can burn as much as 650 calories in-line skating (far half an hour). WOW! Where I am it is 80 degrees and sunny and I can't even balance my body on in-line skates!

Only clearing snow off the drive and walks. The local news station said we've had 50.4" so far and the average for the area is 30.9" a winter. Yikes!

If it is to be, it's up to me.

I think chasing after my four year old is probably my favorite thing. It's fun, and i'm getting better and better at it than I have ever been.

Goal1: Stay on Track!!!!
Goal 2:Consistently exercise, and stay active. At least three times per week.

It's a long road but I've got my walking shoes on. Is anyone with me?

But I would not count eating as activity!!!! I guess I would only count stuff over walking (so 130 plus) that you would not normally do.

I agree snow shoveling is a win win but we don't have to like it. I have been more active in that activity than I have in years, and the snow keeps falling. I can hardly wait till spring.

Some of my best no-brainer work-outs have been getting out and shoveling snow this winter- when you don't have a choice, it turns into a 'win-win' situation (clean driveway= great workout) emoticon

This weekend, we will be starting our spring cleaning. My chore will be wall washing... how many calories do you think that will burn?

I like the spark article where the woman works out by carrying multiple loads of wood into the house. What chores do you do that really burn up the calories?
