Try hot tea and a biscotti or 100 calorie pack. The warm tea fills you up and the snack makes you feel like you are having a treat. Popcorn (healthy kind) is good too. emoticon

How about pickles!! Buy a jar of midget pickles and have a few of those when you feel the urge. 1 oz is only 5 calories and it seems to take the edge off. Because obviously we are not hungry. Try it maybe it will work, nothing to lose but weight!!!

· I used to think that to be happy, I had to lose weight. What I learned is that to lose weight, I need to be happy.

i am a big culprit to this! I acnt help but nibble when im watching tv, so i try to stay busy. by either doing the housework, browsing the net, or picking up the phone, or maybe doing a bit of exercise, it aslways stops me, (well mst of the time) or brush your teeth just before heading to the cupboard or fridge, you dodnt want to disturb the minty feeling lol!
If all else fails, dont stock bad foods, and change into your pyjamas when you get in! Also a gooden!!
Hope that helps! But they do require will power as well! I cant resist all the time!

Tracker only short term goal!
Start weight - 172Ib - 3rd Jan 08

158Ib- proffesional back massage

151Ib- Knee high boots and a skirt

Final goal - 133Ib - much more happier me, no more dieting! Feeling accomplishment, what more can i ask?

I am culprit of this too! I have found that for me, on the days I really don't get enough calories or eat the healthier foods, I end up in an endless nighttime binge of snacking, snacking, and more snacking! For me, eating more often through the day (six small meals) and making healthier choices that include a lot of fiber and proteins seems to have helped somewhat- in addition to the old stand-by of drinking water until you drown emoticon
Again, distraction in the evenings helps me- having a focused agenda- or just trying to go to bed early. I can't tell you how many times my kids have approached me the following day and asked 'mom, what happened to the _______ (insert a sugary, junk food)?' emoticon

JJKKEE - Sounds more like nerves and boredom after a hard day at work! Keep healthy food to nibble on during this time.

I can do so well during the day but once I get home from work I am hungry all the time. I need to stop the bedtime grazing which usually ends up turning into an extra meal. emoticon
